Misty acorn forage rates

Sweetened mud root - 6 << this is the druid ranger no drop epic bit

That thing was the VERY LAST piece for my epic... I had absolutely every other item and step done. I had spent couple hours in Misty Thicket on previous days with no luck, so I went back there on day and thought that I will not leave this place until I get it.

So I got up my pet bear and slaughtered orcs and gnolls and other things there while hitting Forage every time it popped up. Four hours later I finally got it. Half an hour later I had my epic.

I foraged 2 Misty Acorns in the four hours.. was level 58 with forage skill of 200. It all happened in September 2004.

Yep, took me 6 hours total plus few previous tries when I was just running through Misty and hit forage. That's an example of RNG for you.

well.. aparently the sweetened mudroot item has had it's drop rates increased a lot.. because I get those more often than fishing grubs..

there has to be something wrong with that zone's forage..

I got 4 mudroots within 15 mins this morning...

Before I left for work this morning I stuck Sarth in a Tree (I don't know why; it's just fun to hide in the tops of trees) in Misty Thicket, and set up for some autoforaging. I'll post the results after I get home tonight.

Ya know, the more I forage in misty thicket, the more conviced I am there's something seirously messed up with this Zones forage setup.. I've gotten nearly 8 more of the druid/ranger epic forage, when I was doing my rangers forage for it, it took a LOT longer to get..
and, still NO acorns today..

can we get someone to look into it?

Ok, back from work and have the tally for the day's foraging in Misty Thicket (approximately 9 hours, skill of 200, 64th Level Ranger)

60- Black Roots
57- Roots
45- Pods of Water
42- Vegetables
24- Berries
17- Fruit
15- Misty Acorns
10- Fishing Grubs
3- Rabbit Meat
1- Sweetened Mudroot

Now, the Mudroot is Lore, so going back through the spam window I counted 29 additonal Mudroot forages during the course of the day. Also, any of the consumables may have been eaten during the day, as I was'nt carrying any food. I realize this is useless information, for the most part, but thought Firehopper might find it interesting.

15 acorns not too bad though
still I'd love to have that many acorns
