      The asterisks denote player-requested changes.

Specifically, as stated in the patch message:
      * Denotes a change requested by the community.

"Several Tradeskill recipes have had their missing ingredients added to the game. These items will now drop off of appropriate NPC’s."

          That could be fun.
          What day is it anyway?

Keep in mind, that everything is not always mentioned in the patch message. I'd give it a try, to see if it works. We did request additional tokens.

If you search for the Top 10 thread, you can see some of the recipes that were missing items, that should now be in the game.

Overall, a nice patch for tradeskills, although I was hoping to see some mention of NEW recipes for GoD components like Taelosian Wheat Flour.

I didn't see a mention of the portable still/brew barrel. Anyone have any news on that? Also do we know if the Full Capacity Gnomishing Vanishing Device recipe got altered from needing Raw Infused Matter to be charged?

Hey there. I just realized that several of the changes we made specifically for tradeskills were not mentioned in the patch message. That's my fault, I didn't get everything to Brenlo yesterday. I'm blaming the cold medication...

Anyhow, here are a few more things we added, most of which you probably already know about.

                  - Made Fire Beetle Eyes stackable
                  - Made the Lightning Core stackable.
                  - Changed the name of the Gnomish Vanishing Device to Half Capacity Gnomish Vanishing Device.
                  - Created the Full Capacity Gnomish Vanishing Device.
                  - Created a Collapsed Distillery, there's a new Collapsible Container Study that has the details
                  - Added Putrescent Blood drops to NPCs outside of the intestine event in Plane of Disease.
                  - Ordin Wheasly, Tylida Eraldi and Phranz Tyudin in Abysmal now sell Dried Vanilla Beans and Rock Salt.
                  - Changed the Kelp Salts ingredient in the basic Ice Cream recipes to a new item called Rock Salt which can be purchased from the baking vendors in Abysmal.
                  - The Ice Cream Churn is now a "tradeskill container" and you can learn recipes for that container.
                  - Increased the drop rate on the following Planes of Power Temper and Armor materials to bring them more in line with the others: Metallic Substance, Gaseous Condensate, Fog Fragment, Air Arachnid Silk, Chips of Granite and Storm Volaas Hair.
                  - Changed the recipes for the magnetic armor in Omens. They now require patch plates (from 1 to 4) for every item. This brings the component requirements in line with the other armor types.
                  - Changed the recipe for Aldo’s Bitter Ale – Bottle to use a bottle and a cork instead of a cask.
                  - The recipe for researching Servant of Bones will now work as described in the in-game text.

We mentioned that some recipes had become learnable. Here are some of them:
                  - Bristlebane Party Platters
                  - Ceremonial Solstice Robe
                  - Dreams of Drusella
                  - Rage of Incapacitation
                  - Wasted Flesh
                  - Enchanted Velium Bits
                  - Crystalline Silk Swatch
                  - Advanced Propulsion Unit
                  - Base Prototype
                  - Perpetual Air Pump
                  - Perpetual Steam Pump

Knew this was coming, so I stocked up on as much magnetic as I could. I have 3 each BP/Greaves and 5 helms on my traders.

Wonder if this means the materials will get cheaper, or the finished product will go up?

I also bought up as much farwater materials as i could, before the change. I have enough stuff for 4 BP/Legs attempts using the new recipes, YAY!

Now all we need is a reduction in the number of ligtning cores to charge the items, or an increase in drop rates of cores. Well, and an increase in drop rate of bazu/ferna/murkglider blood, since its so darned rare compared to the magnetic stuff.

Thanks for the added update, Absor! I'd say 50 lashes with a wet noodle for not getting it all in to Brenlo, but I know what cold meds can do to a person. Appreciate you stopping by ... now go have some Mum's Chicken Soup and get better!

oh my gosh. the whole patch is gigantic. I felt like I was reading forever and was only like 1/4 the way through.

                            *gapes a little more*

                            btw, this is the bestest:

                            - /who commands now display both class title and base class name for players over level 50, e.g. "Bedazzler (Enchanter)"

                            You know what this means?
NO MORE TELLS FOR VIRTUE !

wow... they balanced the pop smithing thingie... they increased drop rates... I feel like saying that again because it's like this huge apocalyptic thing... /they increased drop rates/.... learnable recipes... raid flagging changes... omg I might actually see Time...

wtb rez for jaw... as humorous as that is, I'm /not kidding/.
