well if they do stack then you could get LDoN armor and then put 3 of them on it?

I doubt they want people to have 100% (120%) haste all all times without buffs.

You can't put 3 in ldon, since the new augs only fit in slots 7 & 8... which no LDON armor has more than 1 of that I know of.

I don't think a 73% haste item would be too bad actually, the melee cap is around 104 past level 50 and you can hit that with any chanter haste over level 49 and a 36%-41% haste item. It would only change things in those cases where you don't have spell haste of any type but those are not common these days.

About all it would do is save you a spell slot but the higher buffs have additional bonuses anyways.

I don't think it would be much more then a wow factor.

Well it would make a difference to me, cause i solo a fair ammount and i only have an Eyepatch for spell haste. (in my first bag in my magelo) %80 worn haste +20% spell haste = maxed.

But i dont think that was their intention, and if it works now, dont expect it to work long... and there you are with a mostly worthless aug until you replace your present haste item with a superior item.

Which is exactly why I wish we had an answer as to whether this would stay. I have a Radiant Citrine of Pure Haste that I had made because I was using tribute for haste before. Now, I need to decide whether to try and pick up a shoulder item with haste, or wait for a superior shoulders with no haste.

That is most likely a bug, most probably just a visual issue (displaying haste as if it was additive, but not acting as if it was). Someone is looking into it.

Friend of mine ran a parse on a 36% haste item with a 30% haste aug (displaying 66%), hit increments parsed out at 36% haste. (this was done with a weighted axe to minimize the problems of logs only timestamping at the second resolution).

Wow, thank you for testing that. I had several people asking about it, and I was unable to get the supplies needed to perform my own test (aka the aug parts).

So, now that it is confirmed to be a visual bug only... Do we really want to take it out of the game? I could use it to really turn some heads. /plot.

I was about to test it out.. thanks for finding out it's a visual bug only... guess we need to report this bug and find out if they can make it so that the haste percent matches the display (much better than just correcting the display hehe -- at least from a tradeskill perspective).

Guess I'll do something other than haste with my Sodalite now. Like trade it + plats for kyanite, hopefully.

Doubtful. I think they are just putting in the Halloween event (at least, I hope that's what they are doing.)
