Here's an off the wall one I reckon. Since there was talk about letting % mod items being a bit more effective over the mark.... and the advent of player made augs... perhaps adding augs that would add a % mod to an item. Being able to have 5% more tossed a geerlok/trophy/etc would make all those fun 300+'s a little more viable to try on.

As a traderskiller (specifically a Baker) who is frustrated with the numerous containers/implements needed for my craft(s), I would humbly request that the new Ice Cream Churn be expanded to TEN slots. Since I had to sacrifice a 10-slot container to accomodate the churn, at least I wouldn't lose storage space when I am not using the churn for combines.

Oh ... and MANGO ICE CREAM, please?? Those unedible Ripened Mangoes I forage in PoG always make me drool.

How about the runes? Could we have some way to diferenciate between the old style runes and the LoY reseach runes? Color tint, shape change.. anything, pretty please =)"

        yessssssssssssssssssssss.
Tudani: it is true that there is a way to right click and see.... but that's the exact same thing as not having L/R tags on the other kinds of pages... the point of asking for this change is that you can tell far more easily, far more /quickly/, what it is and whether or not you want it.

Like.... the runes now are black... what about red runes? it would just be the addition of one more graphic, and a bit of coding to make loy runes use that graphic and not the black one.... it would work and be sooooooooooooooooo much nicer....

But seriously, we've asked questions about things.. some of which Sony has said would be eay to do. 6 months after the last fan faire, we're still asking about them."

honestly, imho? it makes me think they need more people working for them, more hands to do more stuff in the same amount of time.
not that /mine/ are empty right now, noooo... and i wish they were, even just for my own stuff.......

If they're (really actually) gonna look at drop rate of stuff like spiderling silk... it wouldn't hurt all that much to raise the drop rate on other tailoring skillup stuff... like arctic wyvern hides... or othmir pelts... even if it were just a tiiiiiiiiny raise, so it didn't "hurt" much but helped a lot...

HOw about, if they're not gonna raise the drop rates on silks, they make it so that the other silks work too? specifically drachling silks. Yes, I know shadeling silks work, but seriously theres not enough of those either for use. and solo I can keep 4 of the caves in shadeweavers clear pretty continuously. After 8 hours doing that one day I only had 2 stacks of shadeling silks.. and working smithing on 2 toons at the same time.. (main will be 1750 but also have an ogre warr I want to do cultural smithing) I did get 4 stacks of condensed shadows outta that day for my fletching though.

                Was reading this thread:

                http://mboards.eqtraders.com/eq/showthread.php?t=18682

And an interesting fact is that we have a max of 100 favorites across all tradeskills.

I would love to see this list made larger, perhaps make it at least 700 so that we could have 100 per tradeskill.

So if i I have 30 tailoring, 40 smithing, 10 fletching, and 20 pottery I can't add any brewing ones??

That kinda sucks no?? Shouldn't be 100 per skill, not cummulative between all skills.

Divide 100 by 7 major trade skills only allows you an average of 14 per skill with 2 left over.
14 per tradeskill is terribly low, I know I am at max all the time just with things I make on a regular basis, if I want to add a smithing recipe that I am using for skill ups I must go to another container and remove a recipe from my favorites (brewing for example).

                  Hm....

keep in mind they've already raised that once.... And the change wiped out all your saved Favs.... and there was another change at the same time that wiped out all your Learned stuff, too.........

It would be /nice/, I'm not arguing... just... don't be surprised if it doesn't happen....

altho saved Favs are stored client side, so... not sure on this one. hm.

Had to register for forums so I could put in my 2cp here.
First of all, I'd like to say great job on the website, been looking stuff up here for awhile, Ngreth, Niami and co. do a great job.

Here's what I'd like to add in:

1)Base Prototype: Why can't you learn the recipe for this? I always end up making batches of these because it's such a pain to get to Nitram Anizok.

2)OoW tradeskill Augments: As a tank class I'm kinda bummed out that theres no Armor Class Augs available. To make it even worse the Oow augments, for the most part, only fit in the slots that the LDON AC Augs already fit in (FACE, NECK, SHOULDER, BACK, WAIST).

                    thanks, scowls

                      Scowls,

You need to take a closer look at the augments, then. There are augments for gloves (45 hp - not available in LDoN), sleeves, boots, shoulders, etc. The only ones I saw restricted to those slots were the flowstone ones.

Turlo, I did have looked at all of the ts augments and the only ones not restricted to those slots are:

                        Kyanite(HP): ARMS HAND FEET
                        Sodalite(END MANA): HEAD WRIST RANGE
                        Titanite(REGEN): CHEST
                        Tourmaline(MANA REGEN):HEAD

The titanite and tourmaline, most tanks and melee wouldnt use because not only are the effects not really melee centered, but they go in 40HP LDON slots anyway.

Kyanite is great, hp for HAND slot, and would be able to replace the 40hp augs in FEET and ARMS(I guarantee this will be the most expensive one)

Sodalite would interfere with HP in the HEAD slot but would be free for WRIST and RANGE, however, the stats are fairly mediocre for a tank.

So basically, If I chose to keep all my slots filled with Brilliant Blood Ruby of Prowess(AC) and Solid Coal of Prowess(HP) The only augment type i could use would be kyanite in HANDS FEET ARMS, and sodalite in WRIST x2 and RANGE. So basically a tank could use 2 out of the 21 types of base augments.

Yeah, I know some of the effects you can add on to the augs are great, but it would be a tradeoff if you were interested in having the highest AC and HP you could only use the kyanite and the sodalite is of dubious use: if you have enough droppable hp or ac augs to fill the wrist and range slots it again becomes a trade off. (man those are hard to make too)

I believe it was posted someplace that it is intended to be a tradeoff. Personally, I would love to see more augment focus effects added. Mark of Defense. AC 5, 10, 15 for each level. Add that to another augment, and we would be cooking. Or a base aug of AC 5, 10 15. Something like that would be nice.

Personally, I would also like to see augments for Backstab DMG, Improved Parry, AC (as you suggested), skills mods, and procs.

Can you ask about the drop rates for new OOW tradeskill items. Presently the drop rate for skins/pelt/hides vs bloods is about 20/1 (WAG) .Way out of sync considering you need multiple bloods for a lot of the recipies. Also unless they were just put in as curiosities the drop rates for the fletching stuff is way to low.

                                On topic -

Allowing other kinds of thread to make leather padding would be ubercool.. as would allowing other LQ pelts (lion, tundra kodiak, etc) to be used.

Increasing drop rate on swirling shadows would be nice.. I'm not tough enough for TS and farming them off the little punks in ST sucks, drop rate is horrid even with my ranger using track.

                                Off topic-

Shadeling silk is extremely common in shadeweavers from the worm things in the newbie area around the book, and also off lesser shades up near the caves.. I'm farming for swirling shadows and get about 4 stacks of silk to one stack of shadows. Haven't farmed the worms in ages but I seem to remember 3-4 drops each wasn't uncommon.
