At what skill level do you receive the expert title? Does it take into consideration tradeskill modifying items? I'm at 239 (249) blacksmithing when using my trophy. Call me lazy (heh), but I'd like to know if I need to start farming HS to get either 1 point to 240 or 11 points to 250...ugh!

Nope, no mods....I can get Expert Tailor at 250 tailoring, but only Journeyman Smith at 246 smithing. Finally a reason to get 250, and a way to prove to others you are, in fact, 250

I'm a 250 potter (and 200 in all others) but see no tradeskill-related titles.

I do not have the OOW expansion, but I still have access to the title menu. Pain Mistress is there for me too, btw (epic 1?). Do I have to have OOW to get the tradeskill titles?

I think you must probably have OoW to change ANY title...after all, it was a feature of the expansion.

I'm not sure what is needed here. I didn't have any title at all until I Shift-T'd to the title box and selected Naturewalker. I presumably had this title available since completing my Epic. Although a GM Baker, and at 200 in all other tradeskills, I did not have these titles available.

So it seems rather hit and miss as to what titles you can use without having OoW.

As far as I've heard, there is a small selection of titles available without OoW, including the epic titles. But most of the titles are only available with OoW.

Yes you are correct Verdandi, i was on yesterday before i installed OOW and could change my title to a small list of choices. Once OOW was installed i now have a list of all the various tradeskill types as well as a few others.

Without OoW installed you get Class titles and Epic titles.
As a 65 Ranger with 100+ aa's and my Epic 1.0 I have the following titles available.

                    Baroness
                    Veteran
                    Huntress
                    Windcaller

I have 6 tradeskills over 220 with tailoring being the only one below 200 at 193. I do not have any tradeskill choices currently.

After purchasing and activating OoW I have the following titles available. No other changes but activation of OoW.

                    Apprentice Brewer
                    Apprentice Chef
                    Apprentice Fletcher
                    Apprentice Jeweler
                    Apprentice Potter
                    Apprentice Smith
                    Apprentice Tailor

                    Journeyman Chef
                    Journeyman Fletcher
                    Journeyman Jeweler
                    Journeyman Potter
                    Journeyman Smith

hehe, I want that expert title so I will get off my lazy dwarf arse and get my 11 points.

My 200 pottery goal will be shelved until I have 250 in smithing!

                          Wooot!!. /approve cheap tradeskillers

Would be nice though if the title was based on skill + mod, just so you could give your customers that warm fuzzy feeling of there being a certified expert at the helm. But its kind of hard to BOTH reward the 250ers and pacify the customers in all cases where its appropriate. It might be neccessary to have 2 different titles, both indicating a 250(+) skill (modified, and unmodified) to accomplish both goals. /feedback anyone?

I really, really want a title for 1750. Really. Until then, I guess I am going to stick with Wayward?

Is there a higher level title if you're 250 + Mastery III in a skill?
