  • Custom titles in OoW.. includes tradeskill title?

Anyone know if the "custom titles" available in Omens of War includes new tradeskill-related titles?

    Example:

    250 smith = "the Smith"
    250 tailor = "the Tailor"
    1750 tradeskiller = "the Artisan"

Said you'd get to choose the title you like out of any that you've earned.. wonder if tradeskilling could count as earning a title? I sure hope so. I checked it out on test server, but couldn't get the title window to work properly, perhaps because I was too low level, not sure...

Without breaking any NDA's, is there anyone that knows about any tradeskill-related titles in OoW expansion?

From what i read Titles are going to be earned and you can choose from the ones avaliable to you.

Now with that in mind and the 'noise' we have been making about a reward for 1750 people......

Pootle's Prediction is ---> there will be a title avaliable for those who have GMed all skills. And quite rightly so IMHO.

Bolas is entirely correct, except that there's only one title per name, no Venerable Artisans or Lich Bakers (which is probably a good thing).

I'm just hoping I can choose my beloved Mistress title with this new title thing, can only hold of Class AAs for so long

GM in all tradeskills would definately be deserving of a title although may lead to a lot more combine requests from random people

I want to be a Jharin really really badly. Jharin means both a Vah Shir bard and potter.

So what circumstances would lead to an appropriate title for many tradeskillers - 'CopperPincher'

This is a violation of the NDA, but not one that I think will cause a major problem... Some of the titles include...

              LOL. How about 'Platinum Spender'

It would be nice (and I have no idea if this is true or not, hence it's not an NDA voilation) if 1750 would get you the title of Artisan. I'd love to see 250 in any skill get you Master for that skill (Master Baker, Master Tailor, or some funny rude title for fishing.)

Well if it is possible to gain a title of Master [insert tradeskill here] from being flagged as 250 skill in that trade, then it's not a great stretch of the imagination to expect that being flagged as 250 for all 7 main tradeskills would let you gain a title to reflect that.

                Fishing? Master Baiter perhaps?

                    NDA lifted now. Please re-post.

From what I understand, there are three levels of titles for each tradeskill:

                    Apprentice Tailor (100+ skill?)
                    Tailor (200+ skill?)
                    Master Tailor (250 skill?)

This is for each of the seven tradeskills.

What I'd like to know.... what is the title for 1750 tradeskill expertise? Is there one? If not... WHY THE HECK NOT!!!

The screenshot I saw had three skill level titles as:
                      Apprentice
                      Journeyman
                      Expert

for each of the seven tradeskills:
                      Brewer
                      Chef
                      Fletcher
                      Jeweler
                      Potter
                      Smith
                      Tailor

I dont know at which level you earn which title. Also, the screenshot I saw had all 21 titles (3 levels * 7 tradeskills) But I didnt see any title to indicate a 1750.

Yes I'm QUITE DISTRESSED about the apparent lack of a 1750 title. Everyone please /feedback this. We want "Artisan" as the 1750 title please.

                          *chuckle* YOU want Artisan.

                          I'd prefer "the Mentally Ill"

I wish that had stayed (or was instead?) the rumored Apprentice/"blank"/Master.
Titles of the form "Blacksmith Dunthor" and "Master Blacksmith Dunthor" sound much better to me than "Journeyman Blacksmith Dunthor" and "Expert Blacksmith Dunthor".
