WHAT IS A Shiv USED FOR

Giggle - people were so into the switchblade I had to check around for it.

I don't know if anyone knows what to do with them - all I tried was ore reduction with water and that didn't work.

Sorry for the confusion. I thought the humor was more obvious. (Footsore is a Halfling after all, and even though he follows Rallos Zek, that doesn't mean he isn't still very fond of a little mischief. )

Just so ya can be sure: I made it all up. I don't know of any use for the Shiv. I don't know of any quest for honeycombs from Ping.

The Shiv may be used in an upcoming update for Omens of War. Being as how it was supposed to come out much earlier than it did, they might have made it so that the trade skill tag is on it, but it hasn't been implemented yet.
Just my input.

The database lists it as usable in making Advanced Poison Vials.

Just wanted to point out here that it was finally figured out why a Shiv has the Tradeskill tag.

They are used in a tailoring tradeskill combine for the Rogue epic 1.5
