Destroying (collapsed) containers IS possible with items inside them. It only gives message asking u to destroy container (if u even have that on).

Poison vials are purchaseable and do not need to be made if you are planning on making mana vials.

On a related note to this:

Make sure, when you've finished using a collapsible container that you delete the (summoned) collapsible container, and not the collapsed container that you summon it with.

Second tip: Nodrop items poof if a tradeskill container is closed with them inside. Be mindful of this when using the old (experiment) UI.

          Collapsible Destruction

I have a secret for avoiding the woeful destruction of collapsed containers.

Step 1: Open the container, so you can see that it's empty (or only contains stuff you want to destroy).

Step 2: pick up the container, which will force it to close. That way, you know you picked up the right one (I've destroyed about half a dozen glaze mortars because I picked up the wrong bowl).

Step 3: open another bag, and put it in the bag. If it goes in, you just saved yourself a bunch of platinum. If not, you can comfortably click destroy.

Since I got into this habit, I've never had a problem losing a collapsed container.

I believe this was actually fixed a few months ago. Now, if you leave a no-drop item in the tradeskill container, the CLOSE button greys out. If you back away from the stationary container, any no-drop items in it will pop into your backpacks. Droppable items remain in the container, though.

As of this writing, there is a bug that causes you to crash if you back away from a container with a no-drop item in it. It's scheduled to be fixed with the next big patch.

Some skills (Alchemy & Spell Research come to mind) have a skill cap tied to your level – that is, you can only raise you skill so high every level, until you finally hit the level where tha cap maxes out.

Example: Spell Research skill cap = 5 * (Your level - 15). At level16 (when a caster is first allowed to train the skill), you can only train or skill up 5 points, since 5 * (16-15) = 5. You can get 200 in Research at level 55

Another one for Spell Research – pratice runes must be made in the Concordance of Research (obtained through a qquest), but once made, each pair of practice runes must be combined in your class’ Research container.

A long time ago, I made muffins for a druid friend who was trying to increase her Freeport faction...

OMG. I spent endless hours farming eggs for the dough, and she was foraging fruits for the muffins.

is this an enhanced /autoinventory? or what does it do?

the Bloodling Plate Mail for the Vah Shir progressive smithing quest is tradable. The time spent hunting for bloodling carapaces can be saved by just borrowing the tunic from a friend/guildie (provided someone who's done it already is willing to loan it to ya).

And to add to the list...

~ Low Quality Cat pelts are not usable for making Poison vials in pottery.
They are however, useful for making leather padding.

~ Fishing, Poisonmaking and Spell Research skillups can be purchased from your Guildmaster trainer.

For foragers: Bind your forage hotbutton (or better yet make a social to forage and /autoinventory and then bind that) to a turn key, so that you max out your forage skill and are constantly gathering useful tradeskill items. Nothing like ending a fight and foraging up some rare item for a little post-combat baking.

Mewkus I that the original poster means:
                                /hot = short for hotkey
AI = name of the hotkey
                                /autoinventory = the hotkey command.
