Collapsible mixing bowl now not working with new UI

I've been having issues with this too. Fortunately for me, I've been working on those Tunare-be-cursed cultural robes, so I haven't needed to make much celestial essence, except on demand when working for a customer. I'll try the other CRTL button tonight, I usually use my left one. I wonder if this is related to the fact that when in third person view (camera directly behind PC) I can't pitch the camera up.

My Mortar and Pestle is busted too

I am not sure if the original poster found a solution, but I have found that my Mortar and Pestle is busted - as in I can not open the new UI with it anymore.

It worked for a while, and then I clicked the button to have it default to old world. I am not sure when it started to be broken, but now I can not open it with the new UI either by right-clicking on it -OR- Ctrl-right clicking on it. My sewing kit and all other tradeskill containers operate properly, but this one doesn't. I plan to sell it and buy a new one, but I have not tried that yet.

If you're not a rogue, you can't get the new UI with a Mortar and Pestle.

If you're not a Gnome, you can't get the new UI with a toolbox.

If you're not a shaman, you can't get the new UI with a Medicine bag.

I think they are working on the Mortar and pestle issue-if it makes you feel better, mine doesnt work either and it drives me crazy, hence the statement at the end of my original post.

The statement with the CTR R and clicking came because I am dislexic and didnt proofread. The R should have came behind the and word.

My control key works on that side /shrug thats the side I always use for mindless picking up of one item from a stack.

Hope if anyone else gets their UI messed around, they will check after reading that it can get messed up on its own.

I just summoned a mixing bowl and it opened in the new UI on the first try, FWIW.

The devs have psoted that the fix will be that the mortar and pestle will no longer be needed for any non-poison combines, and that recipes like CEs will be made in a mixing bowl from now on. When the change will be going in is unknown (as far as I know) but hopefully will be part of next week's patch. That's why I checked on this thread, I wanted to make sure that after the patch there would be no problems making CEs in a collapsed mixing bowl. As of a few hours ago I had no problems getting the tradeskill UI window to open when holding down ctrl and right-clicking on a summoned mixing bowl.
