Thanks very much for the update.
I must say the fix for the Target Help Option is EXTREMELY welcome.

Now if you can also fix it so that Low quality Cat pelts can be used to make Poison Vials in pottery (LQ wolf & bear pelts work) my tradeskilling/interface bug list will be complete

Dear Devs: Thanks for all your hard work on the new tradeskill UI.

Also, re-learning recipies is about 6 seconds (one whole tick) of inconvenience to anyone whos tradeskilled along time.
*Is it sad that you remember recipies by the ingredients and not the result it makes?*
If anyone wants to complain about that one, i'm willing to tell them what smithing was like as a dark elf before sheet metal stacked, back in the day

I'm also glad to hear that celestial essence will be new UI again for non rogues someday, as my rogue friends are starting to dislike me from asking them to make 31 stacks of CE at one sitting... LOL

I know /exactly/ where that button is. I turn it off... and off... and off... and off again. Sometimes I check before I click anything, when I've signed in, just to make sure it's still off.
Always turns itself back on when I go LD.

Will this also fix the identity crisis of my wood elf cultural sewing kit thinking it is Erudite?

Thank you very much for the heads up, and for being so informative to us all here. Even when the news isn't good I at least find it much nicer to know about it than be left in the dark guessing "Was that supposed to happen?".

Err, but about the new type of mixing bowl? If y'all are gonna keep adding more and more containers (LoY research kit, GoD jewelry kit, various planar kits, coldain kits, cultural kits) could we please get some new collapsibles for them, or have them work in pre-existing collapsibles? It's just, I have enough mules as it is, and with the GoD quest tendency to give out multiple quest containers as well... well it is starting to be a little difficult to manage all those various kits. I've already been thinking of finding a free char slot to make a char to hold just the implements for various trades, something classy for a name, like Myimplements.

It would be really appreciated if you could look into that. The ability to use collapsibles is so nice. Or even if we could turn our collapsible mortar and pestles in to some NPC for collapsible version of the new mixing bowl - that would be heaven (or throw the gnomes a bone and let them make it).

As some of you may have seen, the changes are on test (and have been over the weekend). Here's what happened:

In order to fix the changing learned recipes, it was necessary to wipe your currently learned recipes. Unfortunately, it was not possible to know what recipe you had actually learned once it was "changed". Sorry about that, but it's now working fine. Learn to your hearts content (on test anyway, until we patch live).

Favorites, while affected by the above issue, were also a little vulnerable to non-catastrophic changes. If we had changed a recipe's name or trivial, your favorite would not have updated. This is now fixed. The result of this fix is that your TSFAV file is no longer necessary, as most of the data in it is regathered from the server whenever you "show favorites". Your favorite recipe ID's are now stored in a single line in your UI ini file.

Finally, I also went in and made the UI update whenever you auto-inventoried an item, or bought/sold at the merchant. This should fix the "baking spoon" problems people have been having.

Note that these are just the coding changes. Maddoc has done some work on the DB, but I don't have all that info, so I'll let him decide what he's going to tell you. We do need SOME mystery, don't we?

Yes, but the recipe uses both a Sewing Needle and, for some obscure and non-sensical reason, Hot Sauce, both of which we promise are in-game and working perfectly. ^_^

The recipe for Maddoc's Curtain of Mystery (slot Back or Shoulders, worn See Invis and instaclicky Perfect Camo, which guards against even SeeInivs creatures) is now properly in-game needing merely an Embroidering Needle, and Hot Sauce has been replaced with the Fourth Claw from Quarm's Left Hind Foot (which is only available through a GM event).

/hugs to Tanker and Maddoc. Please pardon my humor, it waxes odd occasionally. ^_^

Thanks so much for being communicative, it is very very appreciated.

It's somewhat a bug with the tradeskill UI, though more likely a bug in general. When I combine, for instance, the items needed to make serrated arrowheads. I get back on my cursor: 2 serrated arrowheads (stacked), and a file. The serrated arrowheads being what shows up if I just look at my screen. If I hit my autoinventory button, the arrowheads go into my inventory, but instead of seeing my file on my cursor now it still shows the arrowheads as being there. I guess the graphic just isn't updating or something. It's not really a huge deal but it has caused me to wonder both if my recipe was suddenly giving me twice as many results and that my file had poofed on me. I haven't tried to see if it's only a tradeskill combine bug or if the bug also exists for such things as being handed multiple quest items. This only happens with /autoinventory, it's still working correctly if I drop an item into my inventory.

Will CE's still be makeable in the M&P when this goes in, or will rogues be forced to use the new container also?

When can we expect the patch? I can wait a few days to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome, but if it will be weeks or months, I'll just continue to skill up the same way I've been skilling up for years.

BTW thank you very much for keeping us updated.

First, I want to say that you and Tanker are just the Vah Shir's pajamas for being so responsive and informative. Many thanks and Halfling hugs.

I thought about it for a while and I wondered, why not put celestial essence combines in a regular mixing bowl? It makes sense in game (pour in your component and a vial of solvent, and watch it sizzle) and everyone already has access to them. Plus, there's already a collapsible mixing bowl, and therefore no need to add another container or two, nor any reason to have people need to swap out the collapsed mortars and pestles they have.

                            Target click help bug ..

.. the whole "Whenever I log in, the Target click help is on, every time" bug (for me, it is when I crash, I come back in and it is on, but it is off if I log in without crashing first, still) has another application. I log in and every last time I log in, I have my 3D Sky set to 'double layer'. I play with it on single layer (saves a little on processing graphics), and every time I log in I have to change it from double layer to single layer. I sent in a /bug about it, and never heard of others having the issue. It is a minor thing, but if you can find the fix for the Target click help, please apply the answer to the double layer sky setting also.

                            Thanks in advance. =)

Really, do you want to be making some food in the same bowl you make weird stuff like CEs?
