Thank you guys for taking the time to respond first of all. Second of all, I love the new tradeskill UI. It makes me smile every time I open a container.

That being said, I know there were issues with the mortar and pestle and toolbox, in that a non-gnome or non-rogue could use these at a bugged 250 skill and make combines they should not have been able to. When I used the mortar, it showed me as having 0 skill (as it should), and I mainly used it for Celestial Essence mass producing. Will the new UI be again available to us non-rogue non-gnomes for recipies such as that?

On the matter of the GoD combines, according to the lore you will get better as you do more of the refining combines, I would really like to know if I lose the record of how many refine combines
No, you won't lose the record of how many refinements you've done. That's based on a completely different system, so you're safe.

Will the new UI be again available to us non-rogue non-gnomes for recipies such as that?
Non-Rogues/Shaman/Gnomes will not be able to use those containers in the new interface. That said, yes, Celestial Essences (and a few other recipes) will once again be craftable in the new UI; Most likely in a new type of mixing bowl instead of a Mortar and Pestle.

        Class specific trade skill containers?

        Hmmmm....

Thank you very much for all the input and response!

Maybe (just maybe) adding a destroy button and an 'unlearn recipie' button would be in order?

For example, Wu's armor, I don't plan on making it after I am done leveling up on it... but is there a way to 'unlearn/memorize' a recipie?

250 in brewing with a trophy! All other trade skills? /sigh don't ask.

Thanks for all the info... I have an issue with the Mortar and Pestal right now where they will not show the new UI at all... Is this normal for a Non-Rogue?

As for unlearning recipes you should not have too as the amount of Learned recipies does not seem to be limited... it is only the amount that you can have on your Favorites list that is limited to 20 right now, at least from what I have seen.

AGAIN HUGE THANK YOU to Maddoc and Tanker for letting us know about these up coming changes.

Save yourselves the trouble of creating yet another new container and switch it to use the Glaze Mortar (pottery), perhaps?

Woot! I really appreciate the information you have been forwarding to us. On the subject of the new tradeskill container, PLEASE GOD can't you leave it be =P.

Sorry, I have gotten used to carrying a collapsible mortar and pestle with me when I solo and make celestial essence from the components as they drop. I just hope this 'new' tradeskill container will have a collapsible component. Or I can make a selfish wish (as this doesn't simplify the problem at all), let the medicine bag make celestial essence (We share the ability to make old world dyes with rogues, so why not!)

                  Thanks again!

The "few other recipes" include high-end Blacksmithing subcombines. Check the key word "Powdered" in the recipes database :-(.

Lickity already pointed out the problem with Collapsible Mortar & Pestles for those of us who use them with Celestial Essence.

To me as a Human Druid who gets a lot of mileage out of his 400P Collapsible Mortar & Pestle.... sorry, but this blows.

/add me for the wish for a collapsible version of the "new type" of mixing bowl as well.

I frequently fish while making CE's and need to create a fishing pole. Indeed, I'll create a fishing pole, then either collapsible mortar, then destroy the mortar if the pole breaks to make another. In between, I'll create a mixing bowl or spit to process the fish I'm catching. Can't really afford to give up another bag and its inventory to keep doing all this at one sitting.

Add my vote for using some kind of collapsible container for this please! I don't have room for another container and need to be able to make CEs on the fly.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't really mind having to learn the recipes over again, since we didn't even have the new UI a couple weeks ago. Now I can do halas 10 lb meat pies without needing to put my arm in a sling afterwards.

I too use a collapsible mortar and pestle for celestial essences. It would be nice if the new container has a collapsible version as well. Perhaps turning in our collapsible mortar and pestle to a certain npc could give us the new collapsible container.

PS the new tradeskill UI is da bomb, I'm only hunting so I can get more AAs for new tanaan crafting mastery now

Awesome. Thanks Trader for the info. You have restored some faith in me the Sony does listen

I haven't really had an problems with Recipes, mine has been containers not being linked to the new UI. I have tennis elbow cause of all the combines I did lastnight. Will this resolve those issues as well? I know on of the containers, Mortor and Pestel, was working great when the new UI came out, I made several hundred combines in a matter of minutes, where before it took an hour or 2.

                                Another container is Glaze Mortar.
