Since the New UI pulls stuff from your inventory, it would be sweet to have a recipe for making multiple CEs.

For exampe 3 scents of marr, and 3 celestial sovlents, get 3 CEs out. It wouldnt affect pricing since your still putting in the same qty of ingredients, but would triple the output of CEs for little effort.

I've devised an evil plan to take care of this

Actually, it's pretty simple, and not at all evil. I'm just going to move all the recipes from a mortar and pestle to a mixing bowl. That should take care of the concerns with not being able to make them with the new UI.

This isn't quite tradeskill related but it may relate to the boxes not being able to combine. The combine boxes for the pok gate necklaces were said to be broken, and I think this happened the same time the mortar changed. So this may be related in some way.

How do you plan to fix glaze mortars.

I can't thank you enough Maddoc! I also have to echo the other sentiments I've heard. Thank you so much for working with us, communicating what's happening and what plans are in the works.

Eeep! I have no mixing bowl as I don't do baking. My rogue was making all my CEs for me. Is the plan to allow this recipe to work in both containers, or just a mixing bowl? (

Well, it is nice that there is a fix, however I am still a bit disappointed. I carry a Black Marble Mortar and Pestle as a main inventory conatiner (it is 10 slots and looks different from my other bags, so I know immediately where to find my tradeskill supplies).

The thing that excited me most about the new UI was that I didn't need to empty out th mortar to make CEs anymore. Now, I actually am gonna have to carry around an extra container (collapsible, fine), just to do CEs. So as a result of the new UI, I end up losing space.

So I take it rechargeable tinkering combines (ala Gnomish Vanishing Device, Anizok's Minimizing Device, Anizok's Maximizing Device, Anizok's Gause Press, Happy Dragon) which can be done by everyone (& are no fail) will be left as "experimental only" for non-gnomes?

I don't have an issue with it personally (as I rarely using any of those), but I know it's been a concerned raised by others - both for removing the need to clear out the tinkering kit, and to easily be able to check which mana battery is required.

                            -----

The mixing bowl fix is much appreciated .

I have to agree with Quesci - Being able to do thse combines in a (full) black marble Mortar and Pestle would make life even better (since it would remove the need to destroy a container every time I wanted to make CEs). Is there any chance we can get either a 10-slot mixing bowl, or (eventually) the New UI for Black Marble Mortar & Pestles for non-rogues?

So do you the developers need a list of the items that we know require 0 skill with such containers?

I know that sounds a bit odd asking if you need such, but I bet collectively we here can provide you a long inclusive list if you all do not wish to have to go through all the code looking for 0 skill combines.

Cool Solution. CE in a mixing bowl!
