I think I phrased my question somewhat poorly.

As Burns pointed out, ogre's get a huge advantge. The penalty they pay is now relatively small. Does this make sense?

Well, why don't they re-evaluate racial penalties, then. Unstunnable has a serious combat advantage, so increase the xp penalty for Ogres...

And hey, wood elves get hide and forage... why don't they get a penalty?
Halflings get a BONUS, and they have sneak and hide. Where's the sense in that?

Revising the exp penalties would be the easiest fix.

Why is this on a tradeskill board? Should be moved to /ooc imo. Unless someone gets in on track with a discussion of cultural tradeskills But that doesn't seem to be what the thread creator is trying to get at ...

according to an ogre warrior i knew he said that he was unstunnable from the front in ANY illusion (usually liked to be in wood elf form after the illusion crown


so therefor only natural ogres (sounds sick doesn't it) are unstunable from the front (natural stuns only not bashes etc)

Class xp penalties were removed, Tinile. Racial penalties were kept.

High Council (i.e. Erudin) erudites are KOS in Paineel. Heretic erudites aren't KOS in most of Erudin (exceptions being, I believe, the two temples and the caster guilds in Erudin Palace).

The main reason, I believe, is so heretics without invisibility (i.e. necros below L8, SKs below L30 and all clerics) can actually leave the continent.

I actually started this post here to see what tradeskillers would say about the cultural and god specific items. There's also the innate forage abilities etc to consider.

oh. then sol ro gives me some of the best for cost rings in games and an idol like everyone else. after they added karana fletching i have been hoping for sol ro armor to be added but nothing yet. as an erudite my only other option were quel and prexus. they appear to be decent cultural for tailored "plate" but the caster stuff needs an upgrade.
