A level 30 druid, hm? ^_^
1. Keep your forages (veggies, berries, fruits, habanero peppers) and go to zones where things are foraged that people want (the list here is HUGE: Tuft of Dire Wolf Fur, various Loy dye components, Tea Leaves in East Karana, etc etc). For example; I've had 2 stacks of Hab Peppers on my trader for over 2 months. Last night, a stack finally sold. Yay me.
2. Learn to (fear) kite, especially when you get a new dot at 34. Hill Giants; plat, fine steel (smithable to HQ ore that you can use to make a small profit on certain weapons, since the ore was free).
3. It is worth getting/keeping up with a Magelo, especially when you are asking for advice on how to get a stat higher. That way, the people like us can see what you already have in a given slot, and make suggestions for better items.
4. As much as you might hate to hear this... get some xp. The difference between 30 and 34 and 39 and 44 are indescribable. There is so much more you can 'do' in terms of getting plat and items with a few more levels.
My personal, not-so-generic advice... aim for 255 wis around the time you are 49, and not too much sooner. Without being in an 'uber' guild or being best buddies with someone who really knows what drops where and how to get it, you'd have to drop a whole lot of plat to get 255 before then. It is an excellent goal to shoot for, and something to keep in mind at all times, but it is very limitedly feasable before then.
For example, by the time you can go to Nadox, start looking for these drops: Hate Forged Pauldrons (8wis shoulder), a Coral Ring (7wis, lore), and a Darkwater Pearl Earring (5wis, lore, 5pct swimming mod).
Above all, MAKE FRIENDS. Unless you're my roommate, this game is very difficult to be played in a vacuum.
allakhazam.com is a great site.
And doh, I have to go to class. /sigh.
Best of luck, li'l drood ^_^
