Try to persuade a friend to kill some elysians for you. The tunic is an excellent WIS piece... although I don't know how much you'd lose at 20 levels below recommended. I would also strongly recommend a pair of PotC earrings. (Recommended level 51, though, sadly.)

Here's my stuff. Some of it could plausibly be camped by someone of your level, or bought reasonably cheaply.

No. I am a skill-up junkie, not a combine junkie. I have, however, gotten a rush from skill ups 1 and 2 on blacksmithing on my tinkering alt. The other day I needs 2 metal bits and rather than log on my main, I just did them on the tinker. it took 3 tries rather than the two I would have likely gotten, but I got 2 skill ups in the process.

And I wooted like it was 249 and 250.

As many has stated above, you can get to 355 on Wis/Int but only for Wis/Int casters. Here is how it works. You start at max of 255 on any stats. From level 61, you get 5 point increase in all stats per level. This is automatic for everyone. That brings you up 25 points (61-65 is 5 levels times 5 per level) which brings it to 280 max at level 65 without any AA points.

If you are above level 51 and have enough AA points, you can increase more. You must also have PoP. Under PoP AA, there is Planar Power ability. This costs 2 AA points per each rank and there are 5 ranks. Each rank will increase all stat's maximum value by 5. So if you have all 5 ranks, at 10 AA points total, you can increase Wis/Int by another 25 points.

Another PoP AA ability, Innate Enlightenment, you must be at least at level 61. From 61, each level you can spend 3 points per level, which allows you to increase your maximum Wis/Int (only Wis/Int) by 10 points. So, if you are level 65 and have 15 AA points, you can further increase Wis/Int by 50 points. This only applies to Wis/Int casters. So, if you add it all up, you can increase additional 100 on Wis/Int cap, thus maximum of 355.

As for QAT (Queno Afternoon Tea) and MTP (Mysty Thicket Picnic). QAT is brewed by brewers and MTP is made by bakers. They need to be in your first food item for them to be effective. One way to make these items last longer is to force feed/drink yourself. Every once in a while, just force yourself to eat/drink any cheap food until you can not eat/drink anymore. You will still get the stats benefit from them but they won't be consumed during that time. FYI, Holy Cake is a good food item for resists since they give +10 to all resists. I always carry QAT, Picnic and Holy cake with me.

As for taking more than one skill to above 200. You need to be at least level 51 and have AA points to spend. Tanaan Crafting Mastery is a PoP era AA ability that allows you to take more than one skills to above 200. Each rank of Tanaan costs 3 AA points. So, if you want to take all 7 skills to 250, you will have to spend 18 AA points (since you already can take one to 250, you only need to spend for 6 more).

I hope this clarifies many questions asked in this thread.

                    How to go above 255

I'm surprised that no one else has clarified this for those who are still lower level, so here's how it's done.

First, at every level above 60, it raises your stat cap for ALL stats by 5. This means your cap at level 65 is 280, with 255 being the cap at or below 60.

Next, there are two new AA abilities that came out with Planes of Power.

Planar Power will raise your stat cap by 5 for each level you have in it. There are 5 of these, each cost only 2 points. This will take you from 280 to 305.

Planar Enlightenment will raise the cap ONLY for int/wis by 10 per level you put in it. This will boost your cap by a big 50 points if you get all 5 points in it. Each point of Planar Enlightenment costs 3 points.

This is where the 355 cap you see some have comes from. Of course, getting the int/wis to get to the cap is the next issue.

Let's say you arn't one of those who looks at the easiest way to get to their goal(myself included in this). You didn't pick your race just because it had the highest possible int, wis, str, or whichever stat you focused on. For myself, I went with a human wizard with a low 100 starting int(the rest went to stamina which was a good move IMO). Now, it's tough to get your int up early on. Buffs are a given early on until you get to the higher levels if you want to hit max int. If you are like me, you have several sets of equipment to get you to where you want to be.

For a while I had an int set, where I would sacrifice overall equipment quality for pure int. This was specifically for tradeskills. In the higher levels, when flowing thoughts begin to be added to your equipment, you may have decided to pass on 2 or 3 int points(or more) just for the FT effect. Don't trade or sell these old items because they DO come in handy.

At level 65, starting to get Vex Thal equipment, I'm still ONLY at around 330 or so int. There are a number of items I need to improve to hit the magic 355, but I'm getting there.

Some foods will boost your int/wis as well.

Don't let this discourage you if you didn't go max int/wis at character creation, because it IS possible to get there sooner than I did. I've avoided using the bazaar to boost my int simply because the guilds I've been in have been progressing well, but that doesn't mean YOU shouldn't be able to help your int by getting specific pieces of equipment to boost your int or wis.

                    I hope this advice helps...

Thank you to everyone who has posted advice on this thread. It is very refreshing to see a thread with positive advice instead of hijacking that devolves into needless name calling and bashing.

Ok, so on the advice posted here I am starting to level up (slowly) and I bought a few pieces of equipment which pushed my peak WIS to 201. I spent a little more than I wanted to, but it got me off my butt to make a trader bot and sell some of the things I have gathering dust.

something to look forward to: at level 46 (i believe) you can also have enchanters cast Koadic's Endless Intellect (KEI or C3) on you... the best-known effect of this spell is great mana regen rates, but it also boosts your INT and WIS by 50 each -- so it makes those last 50 points you're working on a bit more attainable... i'd suggest you keep working on levelling (while getting tradeskill components, of course, if you can) and then buy a KEI in the plane of knowledge. there's almost always at least one chanter casting it for donations (they get the spell at lvl 60, and an average donation is 30-50, at least on my server).

Whoa, hoss! KEI boosts your WIS and INT by 25 each, not 50. 50 would just be insanely overpowering. =)

Ok, looked at your profile and I think you are pretty good for your level. I didn't break 200 wisdom until I hit like level 40. Others made great suggestions but I can make a few recommendation of my own. However, few suggestions I think you may be a bit too young for them.

First GEBs is a good item for feet. GEBs can be looted of Golden Efreeti in Solb. He's a rare pop and has a place holder. He drop the boots most of the time. You can probably get there and hold the camp with a group in 40s. Or you can buy it in bazaar.

Another I can suggest is doing the quest for Shield of Bane Warding. I would not suggest until you at least hit level 50 or so but should be able to solo or duo most of the mobs being a druid at that level. You will need a good group to finish the quest however. The shield gives 20 wisdom and one of the best and easiest item to get for wisdom other than player made ring from PoJ. The quest, however, is very long to complete.

As for more practical suggestion for your level.

See if you can get velium ruby veil instead of platinum. That only adds 1 wisdom but may be worth the upgrade.

You can also try to get to ToFS (Tower of Frozen Shadows) and hunt on the 5th floor(?) where the undead wedding takes place. Rare drop off Nosja is a Diamond Wedding Band. It has 5 wis and few other good stats. He's around level 30 so a good group of 30s can get the keys and get up there to hunt for it.

One other thing is maybe upgrade from idol of Tunare to golden idol of Tunare in your range slot. It adds 2 more wisdom and a lot more mana to your pool. I have seen on Xev these things sell for like 500pps or less.

                            I hope this helps.

your equip is very nice. amazing for your level. much impressed

the velium ruby vail and velium jasper rings will add like 7 wis i think. the golden idol of tunare another 2 wis for 9. didn't see a whole lot more that needed much. that would get you to 210. once you can get kei that is 235 and brilliance might stack with it. again erudites can start with 142 int so that probably gave me the edge to getting to 255 int vs. your 201 wis. plus i was loaned a 20int primary.
