Hello my fellow tradeskillers
Please don't bury this under the rant category as this is a serious problem.
Hmm...we seem to have a huge problem with doing combines at 250 + trophy levels on 250 trivial items. I do realize we should still have a % of failure for chance to make am item but come on 100% failure on 2 sets of Stonewood Compound Bows (10 attempts to be exact) at 2 different times in last 2 weeks. This failure rate is unacceptable.
We have a large problem here and it isn't a fun one. These last 10 bow attempts now cost me 400k in materials. It takes a long time to raise 400k btw. I almost quit the game earlier tonight and I have been here since the beginning of time.
I have taken the first step and send feedback on this, petiitoned and been answered by a senior guide who put me on a waiting list for server GM which we don't have right now. I have also used eqlive and let CS there know about the problem.
The only explanation I can come up with is that the 250 successful combines of items are also based on STATS and not skill as Verant had put it. It would be a lot easier for them to program that in (just like in skillups) than create a seperate piece of programming for the GM 250 + trophy people and their tradeskilling of making of 250 trivial items or even worse they are basing a successful combine of a 250 trivial item on just the RNG (random numeral generator)
I am waiting to hear back from them and will post their answers on these boards.
In the meantime I would be interested in hearing your thoughts as GM tradeskillers of what percent of successes you have been going through.
Also if you are having the same problems send feedback on this or use eqlive and contact your GM button and report it so we can get this fixed.
