Surefall porter is broken, but the Blackburrow one still works, so have to go through there to get back to SFG until they change back the SFG one. I assume they broke it on purpose so people would find the place. Now it's found they'll probably switch it back sometime.

Newspapers - lost opportunity
So , I forgot to check the ‘Town Criers’ for the updated newspaper, but I hear that it only really refers to the new zone, Nedaria’s Landing.
I’m a little disappointed that SOE didn’t include any hints or refer us to any NPCs that might have a clue or two to help solve some of the unsolved quests (like the Hotsauce needed for Brodder’s Revenge, which is in turn needed to find out about Lewena’s Favorite Drink)
They could have put in a little humorous news item like:
~~~
“Cat got your tongue”
News around Norrath - Kaladim City officials have formally banned Iron Chef Hannah Goldpaws from operating a restaurant within city limits after her legendary Hotsauce burned the tongues and mouths of the city’s entire Cleric Guild, preventing them from chanting their prayers to Brell and thus from healing themselves.
Fortunately, the Cleric Guildmaster was able to produce a substantial cache of Brell’s Blessed Stout that served admirably to quench the firey heat he and his fellow clerics were suffering from. Unfortunately, this caused said clerics to get monumentally drunk and decimate the local taverns in search of further libations to continue the ‘cure’.
When reached for comment this morning, the Guildmaster only said “Do you have to talk so loudly?”
Fans of Hannah’s Hotsauce, don’t despair. Ms Goldpaws says that she will share her recipe with her fellow chefs. “I’ll be setting up shop back home, visitors will be most welcome and we can swap recipes over a nice hearty bowl of Dragon Breath Chili.”
~~~
Voila! A quest to hunt down a Vah Shir chef, possibly involving a subquest or two for ingredients or other recipes to ‘swap’, and a handy way to add in a few new recipes (like the chili.)
Now wouldn't that have been fun ?

Just a few more infos about Nedaria's landing :
The zone is pretty big, and seems to be StoneBrunt like at lower lvl (max lvl is 33 seems to be). You can collect all JP tradeskill item easily in AE session, though cat and griffon tend to aggro fast. I did not find any named yet. Also there is an huge part of the zone considered as sea, but in fact you can cast out of the water on underwater mobs and use levi/horse if you are swimming.
And well, I can confirm that the emergency patch only fixed Air and Earth, and all the rest is still...buggy (cleric/wiz pet, ring system...)Last edited by dahna; 11-07-2003, 02:27 AM.Baroness Dahna Siteris Tanja Roh, retired lonewolf of Saryrn
