I also have never had aggro from bow shots, proc or not. As for jolt, I live by it. It works for me with few resists, except some PoP mobs that are just plain insanely MR. I do however watch when I cast it, and I never cast right after cleric/shaman/druid heals. As for BFT vs. Nightmare, I currently use the nightmare bow, but I will be switching to BFT for the better resists, hp and range.

Have never pulled aggro from the MA with a Bow either, but personally for a Tunare Ranger the Nightmare just doesn't get the job done period.

I usually pull for my groups, so the extra range is absolutly needed. The resists are required for pulling any form of Caster. I have kept my gear so I have a semi decent balance of FR/CR/MR all at or over 100.

The benefit of the proc is minimal at best, at least I've never seen that it helps that much.

I have fletching at 246 finally, and with my trusty old geerlok, I've been making quite a few more BFT's for guildies, and some nightmare. Heck, my last two skill ups were off of BFT combines in the last couple weeks.

There are positives and negatives to both bows, and getting materials etc... but give me a BFT over the Nightmare any day.
