Battle Blade/Sundered Blade drops

Thanks for the pointers on the blade drops. I've been keeping my little druid foraging and snagging ground-drop treant branches in Elddar for the other recipe mentioned above.

Now, on to the de-rail comment..
Combining items is only plat-negative when you sell the results to NPC merchants. Some of these finished items sell for far and above their material costs --- to other players, via the bazaar. There really aren't many other ways you could do this without turning up a huge bankroll from exploiters.

Ngreth, have you thought about keeping an updated FAQ of requests here? ;D

or you can kill some trees in Blightfire Moors for the branches since they are low lvl you can kill many of then fast and if you luck get many more branches then if you forage then

The random number generator hates me, so I think I'm still better served by grabbing groundspawn.

(Case in point: 82 near-trivial combines at a 6% average skillup rate means I should have gotten ~4 skillups and failed 2 or 3 combines yesterday in smithing; instead, I failed twelve times and got one skillup.)

Continuing the de-rail, selling tradeskill-made items to an npc vendor is like real-life goods ending up on an overstock shelf.
