Fletching skillup sucks...

Fletching will use the highest of your DEX, WIS, or INT. If you DEX is highest at, say 300, then it doesn't matter what your WIS and INT are. If your INT is highest at 370, then it doesn't matter what your DEX and WIS are.

Very glad that I gained from the estimated average. And a word of encouragement to those with under 300 INT/WIS. There is hope. It can happen.

Apparently, my point seems to be lost since I did not say "under 300 Int/Wis/Dex".

As all my chars linger between lvl 55-65 and can never spare the AAs to boost stats, I am always under 300 in all stats (and I'm not in the habit of asking for buffs either). This made me very hesitant in skilling up fletching and pottery in the past (due to their Difficulty 4 status).

I do believe there are other TSers who are in the same boat and I just want to encourage them that the estimated average does not always apply. In my case, it only took me 75% of the estimated average (which worked out to be 206 combines less) during the skillup range from 282 to 300.

God, I am hating fletching more everyday. Spent all night collecting and preparing for a good run of fletching, all of them PoR bows. I have done about 150+ combines with Dex of 435 without a single skill up. RNG just hates me. Previously, I did about 60+ for 1 point. At this rate, I need to do 1000+ combines for las 9 points. /sigh

I managed 180 combines at 291 with no-skillups at 415 dex, last night I did a run of 120 combines from 295 and dinged 300 with 30 to spare The RNG is certainly a fickle mistress. Now i just need to find somewhere to store my 30 bow staff and 600 treant branches till i can clear some stock from my traders.

Grats! (Too bad you aren't on EMarr as I'd buy those from you in a heartbeat - RNG on kill drops and groundspawns has still been horrible for me hehe).
