288 to 300 fletching on PoR combines?

Maps won't do tons of good except for the ones in a fairly isolated area. The rest spawn on wander routes so can spawn on 15 to 100 possible spots depending on the route they drop on.

I've been running around in Eldaar and marking on my maps the different ground spawn locations I've found, though I'm just curious as to if there are set spots/paths for the different item ground spawns, or can any of the ground spawns have any of the items? (Just curious so I know what to label the different spots on my map is all mostly)

What I read was that the ground spawns that appeared on the the paths of the "bushes" didn't include branches, but the ones on the paths of the "trees" had branches, apples, and pomegranates.

Ok... made about 100 branches into about 200 laminates. Then made 65 bow staffs... for one skill up. Ding 289 fletching.

About to make the bows now, we'll see if I got better luck with the skill ups for that.

Each of these laminate staffs takes 1.5 branches to make the 3 required laminates. So you get 2 chances to skill up for every 1.5 branches (1 1/3 skill up chances per branch).

Which of the following is a better skillup path? I am debating to go with (2) to skip the horse hoof.

(1) 0.75 branch + 0.1 horse hoof = 1 skillup chance
(2) 1 branch = 1 skillup chance (using the Desiccated/Oak Treant Recurve Bow recipe)

The branches are easier to get than the hooves, unless you're willing to farm Ruins of Takish Hiz a lot or hunt in Devastation, so you'll probably do better with the 1 branch = 1 skillup chance.

Just a reminder to get Wunshi before skilling up, I can get 450 Dex with Wunshi, which makes a nice increase in skill-up rate.

Luckily I had bought the bazaar out several times on horse hoof so I still have four I haven't used yet.... now if only some LAZY GNOMES on Povar would GET OFF THEIR BACKSIDES and make some Firewater to sell in the bazaar....

I've gone from 288 to 292 Fletching using the tips in this thread so far... thanks guys... currently no more ingredients for sale in the bazaar.. which is ok since I remembered that I have a huge stash of stuff to make Nightmarewood Compound Bows and that if I forget to do this before 295 then the stash is useless... so time to get them LAZY GNOMES to work on innovative bow cams (none of which are currently for sale in bazaar).

If there are any non-lazy gnomes that wanna do some bow cam combines... did I mention I also need the battle bow cams for the PoR bows?

I generally got more than enough hooves killing the treants and horses in Takish (and that includes foraging for branches). The problem with finding innovative bow cams is probably because an innovative clockwork gear is used in making the AAAA.

If you need firewater, just create a newbie gnome, they start with 50 tinkering skill. I tried to use mine to make battle bow cams but got four failures in my first four tries, so I gave that up.

Lucky me I have a huge stash of them saved. Like 88 of them. So I'll be making some up into bow cams to try out my luck with skilling up on nightmare wood bows. See if that gets me from 292 to 295.

Yeah battle bow cams.

Bazaar is out of both kinds of cams and out of the ingredients to make either kind, and I'm out of materials to make anything else.. up to 297 fletching, waiting on more people to sell stuff in bazaar.

Get to work, Povar!! Sell me some battle bow cams!! I'll need about... oh.... lemme think here.... 300 of them.

Had an amazing string of luck this morning. From 297 to 300 fletching on about nine combines. That balanced out my experience with getting the last point of smithing.. which also happened today.

Only need the last three points of tailoring to finish master artisan now.

I just want to say thanks to everyone giving tips and advice in this thread, its given me a more focused idea of where to go next. I had a mad fletching frenzy yesterday and went from 202 to 282. Now I'm starting the process of gathering what I need for the PoR combines.

depends on your class/gear/aas

i soloed ruins for the groundspawns and the 4 treant kos roamers. at that same time i did the 3 horse spawn (inc the named glove dropper) and foraged. after those were killed i zoned into elddar to check groundspawns then back to ruins. did the 55 aura quest for 3 or 4 of my alts, helped several other people do theirs.

i made 2 comps and a plainswalker pre patch. post patch i gave the two druzzils to new app rogues and the comp to a 62 rng who was using a nightmare bow. all the stuff i had left and other stuff like favors/sundered/battle cams i sold in baz. all the proceeds helped twink alts or pay for aaaa's for bazu/last blood augs

soon as the druzzils appeared for sale the market died for everything. fletching is back to being dead. please give us a gm range item/bow like gm armour so there is something to work for.
