Stat used to aid Fishing skill-ups?

Does int or wis help with Fishing skill-ups? Do any other stats?

AFAIK, the higher of your int or wisdom effects the skillup rate of ALL skills.

Some skills may have an additional stat added to that list, but its still the higher of the 3 that counts.

No idea if fishing has an alternate stat. But you can't go wrong choosing int or wis and raising it.

That's not entirely correct... most combat skills use either dex or str for determining skillup rate, but for every tradeskill except smithing, it's the highest of wis or int. For smithing, it's the highest of str, wis, or int. There's probably a few other bits here and there that I'm not aware of.
