Almost every brewer I know wants to make plat. Maybe not the gobs of plat that other tradeskills do. But plat nonetheless.

First of all, brewing isn't my primary tradeskill. But as a person who drinks stat drinks, it would be nice to have more of a variety to choose from. That said, one of the things I've been waiting for is Justice Fruit Juice. Same recipie as all the other fruit juices but with decent stats. Though I would love to see as much variety of stat drinks as there are stat foods from PoP, from items that only require tier one drops and forages, to items that are elemental only or at least require elemental drops. And I'd also like to see some PoP alcohols.

        Re: Ok, fine

Take me for instance, I would love to be able to make some of those nice party platters, but not having access to the plane of water guess what? I'm not gonna see them. Maybe I'll get lucky once, but I seriously doubt it.

Until I get into a good guild, and can get PoW access, I have to live with the fact that there is yet another thing I won't get access to.
This is way off base. I have 0 flags so far & yet I have 6 Bristlebanes Party Platters. All the materials to make it are droppable & though some are rare, I have my BPPs just 2 days after the recipe was revealed. I already had lots of Hero Sandwichs & all you need is a friend that can forage to get the Justice Fruits. The Slargatog (sp) pieces are a little painful, but they are tier 1 and can occasionally be found on vendors. The only part I consider difficult is the Regrua claws since they are Tier 4 which very few people have access to. Enter the bazaar: Found 2 for 350pp each. In hindsight I should have only bought one since the cracking yeilds 2 & then baking yeilds 2 buckets. Voila 3 for 4 on BBPs. Enter Murphy's EQ laws: An hour later I found 4 regrua claws on a vendor for 1pp each.

          Heh

Brodder's Revenge or Hair of the Dwarf that Bit ye- was one recipe that somehow never made it in live--though I was given a few once...

Basically a hangover cure that well was pretty horrid...

Think it was... Short beer, whiskey, spices, snake egg, veggies and a cask. (egg may have been of a different type and ale might have been Dwarven ale, or double brewed double stout- it was in a post of mine on old boards I think...).

Too bad many of my old posts weren't archived...sigh...

            Ask and ye shall receive

Well Brodder, check the Lawena's favorite beverage post to see that someone did, indeed, dig up one of your ancient posts... including the recipe for Brodder's Revenge. Excellent memory for a sot!

Rubbing Alcohol (or whatever the alcohol is that's used in the 7th shawl)
A block of porous mineral (the nearest thing I could think of to styrofoam)
A silk swatch or perhaps a silk cord (for a wick)
              bottle

Stackable, slot: range, weight: .1, Class: RNG, MNK, BST, ROG, WAR, PAL, SK (basically any melee class), Race: ALL, 20/40 (relatively high damage, relatively long re-throw, to basically turn this into a pulling weapon) Range: 75 (Not terribly aerodynamic, shouldn't be able to go very far) Effect: Flame Lick (on successful hit only).
              I got a better idea...

              1 vodka
              1 patch of tar
              1 silk thread
Mabye have some pottery made container to put it in?

and make the damage be something like 2 but +10 fire damage and the delay 40 or something like that. No magical effect needed.

I like the hero in a bottle, it gives us something to do with the thousands of MHBs that we make to get to 250 besides drink them. Don't get me wrong, MHB is a great drink and all... but you get tired of it after a while.

Oh, and while a great brew is great, we should have some sort of inexpensive flowing/lasting drink that has no stats to go with the fish rolls of baking. Such as

              A strange beverage
              This is a flowing drink!
              soda
              water
              syrup
              bottle

hehe, if anyone can't tell it's basically the recipie for any of the carbonated drinks we consume today... an ode to you, Coke, without your caffine, I wouldn't be where I am today.

                Brodder's Condensed Ale-

                Mino Hero's brew.
                Rootbeer.
                Double brewed Double Stout.
                Underfoot Brown.
                Vasty Deep Ale.
                Short Ale.
                Cork
                Bottle.
                Corking Device.

Creates a super condensed Ale, with extra stout foam and flavor.
Each sip and resulting Belch results in a memory of a grand ale ye once had.
This drink is a everlasting buzz...err ummm Heroic drink!

Have 2-3 varieties of this beverage- one with wines, one with spirits, and one with fruit juices too!

Or howabout a Meal in a Bottle?

                Bottle/cask likely cask for size.
Gnomish Condenser/dehydrater Device (new tinkered device?)
Condensed Soup. (Cheese soup, veggie soup, fish soup, chowder etc)
Condensed Ale. (Double Brewed double stout of course)
Condensed Snack (pretzels Dough/sea salt baking)+(cheese cubes- aged cheese + knife (returned))
Condensed Stew (stew is Meat, Gravy (beer + wine + meat + flour + spices) and Veggies/mushrooms and clay pot/iron pot)
Condensed Desert wine. ( Ro port, Faydwer port etc)
                Condensed After Dinner Drink.

Successful combo results in a Heavy Cask with Everlasting drink/meal?

Using Gnomish Condenser (4 slot tinkered device) makes Condensed or dehydrated item + 1-2 pods water/flask water.
Dehydrated food is longer lasting and can be combined with 2 flask water and spit or In pot + oven to recreated said meal.
Dehydrated concentrated food weigh's half or less then original meal.
Eating a dehydrated meal means you consume water/drink at a double rate.

Continue on this thread- but make sure lower recipes can be dehydrated.
Even create Canning device to go with Dehydrator/condenser.
Would then need a can opener to use canned food.
BUT canned food wouldn't ever be consumed unless can opener was used on it.
You could can Fizzlepop, juices, and teas too.
Canned ales and such might go Boom!

                as for Bombards...

Firewater + lantern (for oil and wick) + Clay pot/bottle + metal powder (see the dwarfs for this) + gem dust (see the gnomes for this) + wax + rare oils + Rare salts(minerals)... in tinker box.
                = various types of bombards...
One is a Aoe firework (sparkles ) that acts like a short mez/stun ie persistent effect on or near target affects all in an area--
Smoke pot- stinky thick cloudy smoke- effect?
Boom Bottle- aka Molotov- persistent fire dot single target with splash dmg ala immolation but over time...

dats it for 240 am edt...
