Dang, wish I had seen this post before I forked out 10kpp for a stone bean in the bazaar /sigh. Oh well grats to all the more patient brewers out there.
Now if I could just finish that **** tailored bola.... /em waits paitiently for the 14th.

I would love to find one for 10kpp. I have my buyer at 50kpp right now and have offered up to 75kpp for one to no avail. I'm hoping that I get one before the 14th as I figure it's better the devil you know than the devil you don't

If I still don't have one by the 10th I'll probably end up adding even more to my /buyer line

Well I got all back up to the point where I was at today on a new task window, had to redo everything, but, it wasn't all that bad since most of the stuff you have to go out and farm, I had overfarmed the first time.

Still looking for Stone beans like everyone else, I would indeed like to get this done before the patch if possible.

Woohoo! I finally found Stone Beans, though they did cost me more than I was wanting to pay...

Was a little nervous during the combine, but all went well and I now have my trophy. I already did my baking trophy and fully evolved it doing Misty Thicket Picnics this weekend, so I think I'll wait till next weekend to evolve my Master Brewer Trophy.

At least I don't have to stress about the 14th coming before I could find the beans though

It's been a bit, but I spent 3 or so levels there and many many aa's, got the shield and the belt for myself and others several times, did the DL back quest with the 4 rare-ish drops (shattered sword quest) and I have never ever seen a stone bean.

I'd do the Nc ditch, WoS ditch, and then the higher level murks by the bonecracker ridge, easily 50+ hours agro kiting.

Well, the "fabled" stone bean still do drop in bazaar zone. But the price is now the highest I've seen on Maelin:

Ngreth any chance you could slip the patch a little sooner? Bribe them if you have to this is getting ridiculous. people are going to feel cheated if they paid 75k not knowing in just a few days the recipe would be something elsen and that 75k bean becomes worthless. Or somehow make it no drop?

Skipping over the obvious "don't address a dev here" part, why would anyone think moving a patch forward 5 days is possible or reasonable? I'm sure there are other things scheduled to go into this patch that aren't done yet. Let the folks there work

Besides, anyone willing to pay 75k for a stone bean knows exactly what they are doing. If you can patiently wait until the 14th to see how this gets addressed, save your pp until then. If you cannot wait, spend the 75kpp.

Personally, I have found other new content (tradeskill and otherwise) to occupy my EQ time whilea few issues get addressed.

i cant see why anyone would pay 75k for the trophy itself, i could see maybe for smithing or tailoring... but not for brewing or baking. i wouldnt even pay 20k for it.

some dear sweet wonderful random person chose to sell my buyer stone beans for 500p a few days ago. YAY! AND i made the corker on the first combine (was just using a geerlok, didn't really need the trophy stats). took 3 or 4 hours for find a rat with an infected liver, but otherwise it was quite a day for miss noppity =)

i must say, other than rare drops (i have spent many many AA's and at least a couple of levels in Noble's, and i'm ALWAYS the looter, and have NEVER seen stone beans drop, i checked my logs) and flagged zones (nooooo not highland sludge AGAIN!) i am having a BLAST with the trophies =) looking like all my characters will need to give up at least 7 bag spots for them!

I've been hunting in NC the past two days for stone beans without success, I have seen some in the baz thsi mornign for a simple 20k a pop.

Glad to hear this is changed in the next patch, slightly frustrated as I have a ton of brewing combines to do and I'm holding off until my trophy is complete. Guess I just need a little patience.

where and from what they dropped, we need FIRST-HAND confirmation...

Definite drop in Harb Spires, not sure which mob tho. We were in second-left, pulling Dragorns, Discordlings, Toiler/Karg/Trainer pretty much. I'm fairly sure it was off a trash mob rather than a named.

Sorry it's not more useful, but at the time I didn't realize they were anything more than fodder for rude jokes.

Straight oak treant branch is a groundspawn in Elddar Forest--might be foraged too, but as a dwarf paladin I can't say.

Sorry to ask a silly question, but where is Elddar Forest? I don't play more than once a week these days, and have never heard of this zone. I can't seem to find any reference to it. Thanks
