Stone Beans

I'm having some problems finding stone beans. The database lists them as dropping in Noble's Causeway. I spent hours there in groups, getting several AA and thousands of plat in loot, but no beans. I've also had a buyer up in the bazaar offering very attractive prices for them, but no luck.

So, am I terribly unlucky or do these drop somewhere else?

Stone beans are dropped off statues in DoN instanced missions iirc:-)

As far as I know, these are Omens of War-only drops and not available in Dragons of Norrath zones. Allakhazam lists them as dropping in Harbingers' Spire, Noble's Causeway, and The Bloodfields.

Spent hours in NC and didn't get any either. Guess I'll try bloodfields later. I have never seen this item drop before anywhere, and I have done some alt leveling in these zones, so I'm not optimistic.

Same here, never seen it drop, ever. Spent 6 hours in NC and no beans. I either have the most terrible luck or I'm in the wrong place/hunting the wrong mobs. And I'm very doubtful on Bloodfields, I spent more time than I care to say in that zone leveling my rogue alt and I never saw one bean.

I spent a couple hours in NC on the murkgliders near the entrance from DS, to no avail.

One round on the dragorns near the DS zoneline in BF before Mrs. Chase asked me to camp for the night also yielded nothing.

Tried missions? (no I don't know which ones... jsut soemthing I heard in the chat channel)

There are hundreds of "missions" in the game, and if the items do drop from nest missions from the stone guys, they are fairly uncommon (not to mention that those missions only have like 3-4 of those mobs in them). I'm unconvinced they drop from them at all since I've never seen them.

Anyone have any actual confirmation of where these drop? Already starting to see people /ooc ing about them in PoK, so people are going to quickly get frustrated. So let us know if you have seen them personally (no hearsay please =P).

Im very frustrated right now. Eqtraders and Alla info is WRONG. Ive spent 8 hours today in just bloodfields, and yesterday i did NC. No one seems to know where they drop in chat either. Nothing in baz, i check every hour and none for sale, ooc in diff zones and nothing, even at 50k each i offer. So where do they drop then????

I have never seen these drop before in any OOW or DoN zone.If they do there ultra rare,even more rare then slugworms and scoria put together.Unless there not dropping at all.
I am curious as to why there so rare.They dont make anything worth a darn, that i can see.If it wasnt for this new Trophy,they would have continued being a non existant item to the general population.

its rather funny and sad at the same time.Brewing is suppose to be one of the easier tradeskills along with baking.But the Trophy for it is worse then all the other ones to complete.Due to that one item.
Everyone i know is stuck on this same trophy,has anyone even completed it?

I have still yet to find anyone that has actually looted a stone bean that is able to tell me the zone and the mob they were killing. I have heard people say they had some on mules or someone sent them a tell and they bought it. I'm convinced there is a stone bean fairy out there that drops these into people's banks. Now if I can just figure out how to raise stone bean faction

Last night on FV, there were at least four people in the bazaar trying to buy these. Personally I've had a buyer up for over a week on these, plus I have tried several times to hunt them in NC.

A necro i met on fv server has looted several kiting murkgliders in nobles in the draw nearest ds zone line..yes its all i have left also...i will get one.. i have lots of friends helping kill and as a 70 cleric i can solo or tank those mobs...group tanking is faster of course

Now quit complaing and start killing...at least they aren't green mobs...

Yes, I did mine last night. Fortunately, a friend had 4, and I traded her some subcombines for the Masters brewing trophy for 1 of them. But I'm afraid I can't offer anything constructive on where to go, as she's not sure where they dropped from.

Please, please, please come back if you get any there and confirm where and from what they dropped, we need FIRST-HAND confirmation...."a friend said he got them in xxx zone off yyy mob" isn't good enough, given the many rumors of where these drop.
