  • Where do you MHB?

It is a long standing tradition that any who would be a master brewer must do MHBs. With the new UI, it's not all that wrist-wracking anymore either. My question to all you GM brewers: Where do you MHB?

I've been doing it in Cabilis mostly because I'm an iksar. Everything but the water on the two merchants next to the brew barrel near the bank. The water, however, is inconveniently located in the next zone over.

It's been awhile since I used that route to skill up (stopped at 202, and have been at 250 for about a year or more now), but I did the majority of my brewing in Thurgadin, while you have to run around the town to get the parts, everything is sold there, although there is only one brew barrel.

Did 250 brewing on two different characters.

If you're good Halas is the place to be. Everything you need on two vendors just three steps from the brew barrel.

Finished up doing my KCs in PoK.

Shaman did em in Cabilis, but now all the stuff I need is also in one spot in Abysmal, so the wizzie goes there.

I did half in Halas and half in Abysmal Sea in the top room, which also is a good place for doing patty melts and beer baking.

I did it first in Shadowhaven, but would do it now in Abysmal.

Abysmal Sea... the 2 brewing vendors are less than 10 steps from a brew barrel, AND in the off chance that that brew barrel is full, there are 2 more on the ship.

If you've got good Ak Anon faction, it's a good place. Brew merchants right near the barrel, water merchant a few steps away. Did all of my characters there.

I took my brewing to 200 in Abysmal. I read Elyssanda's post before, and found it quite convenient. Better than the PoK, because short beer is hard to find in the PoK (at least for me it is.) When I get ready to resume brewing (after I get 3 AAs) then I'll head back to Abysmal. It was really convenient.

Firiona Vie. Everything but the water is in one building on two merchants near each other, and the water is a short run away in another building in town.

Gukta as well. The brew barrel has 3 vendors in a small area that sell all of the supplies.

East Freeport - but you have to run back and forth between two buildings for all the ingredients (but the buildings are next to each other).

                              Neriak all the way

Neriak Foreign Quarter is my god for this. Two brew barrels in very close proximity to the brewing vendors and normal supplies vendor is just 2 seconds away down some stairs. But then again I am a dark elf and I grew up here......so I like being home.
