I average a skill up every 54 combines making MTPs. I have had better runs. I dipped down to a skill up every 30 or so combines for a short time, but it didn't last long unfortunately. I have also had runs of a few hundred attempts without a point. If you get a point every 30 combines consider yourself lucky.

I wonder, are the Justice Fruit more common or should I just stick with fishing for Storm Salmon? Fisher is max 200 and my forager is maxed too. ( 200 baking skill now btw )

Just to follow my other post up...
It took me 480 attempts to go from 230 to 238. I got points 237 and 238 in the first 15 attempts of the last baking session (160 combines) and no gains in the final 145 tries. 480 attempts/8 points = 60 attempts per point.
My INT may be a bit low at 245. I wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference, but maybe it does. My stats are 210 str, 217 sta, 187 agi, 215 dex 202 wis, 245 int and 215 cha when I am in baking mode. I also use my GM spoon. My success rate is getting better. I think I finished with ~14 stacks this last time, but my skill gains just aren't there.Last edited by Elton; 08-11-2003, 09:36 AM.Elton

it took 11 stacks of patty melts at 210 int. the last 3 points took 5 stacks. is it only going to get worse from here on out? it looks like it. trying to get to 191.

Took me near 700 combines to get from 191 to 200. HMP ive never had luck on combines from them.....but MTP if you have the space will give ya 100 combines in about the same amount of time it takes to make 40 combines of HMP. Hope that helps.

i got my last 7 points doing JFP's, i bought the fruit in the bazaar for 10pp each, and i got those 7 skill ups in less than 4 stacks. i wish i had done them before all those MTP's. Wis was 305.Lixivia_Syrinx_70_Paladin

My skill-ups since 200 have been about 1 in 50. Fortunately, the stuff needed for MTP's are fairly cheap (I forage)
Don't get me started on the cost of Tailoring!!!!

I'll never understand the range. I went from 238 to 241 in the first 40 combines. I gained no points in the next 60 or so combines, then went from 241 to 247 in the last 60 combines of the session. The next day I got 248 and 249 in the first 40 attempts and point 250 with 7 combines left. Oh well, 250 now so who cares how painful the first 249 points were

I did 350 combines of MTPs with a smattering of Griffon Melts thrown in. I was at 198 skill when I started. I was at 198 skill when I ended. This was with 246 wis.Comment

I had an amazing run of 100 MTPs. I got 9 skill ups in 100 combines, starting at 234.
