I just hit 226 on Halas Pies tonight, so I guess I’m done with them except for when friends need them. I was very lucky and got my last 6 skill ups in 60 combines. And now I have about 10 stacks of wolf meat, 5 stacks of mammoth meat and about 30 stacks of creamy fennel sauce left over. I guess I’ll keep them until I need the bank space more. I’d hate to have to start from scratch if friends need more pies.
My supplies came from leveling and from luck. My ranger was leveling in EW and saved up almost a backpack full of mammoth meat while doing so. My kitty shaman spent a few levels in EK killing gorge hounds and ended up with a backpack full of wolf meat. And a couple of months ago I got really lucky in Thurg. The butcher had creamy fennel sauce for sale for about a silver each. Knowing someone had to sell them to him, I didn’t expect to be able to buy many. But to my great surprise, and pleasure, the vendor didn’t run out until I’d filled up every slot on an empty mule and every empty bank slot on my druid. Now that saved me a great deal of time, and a fair number of coins.
I plan to use drops and forages from JP for skill ups now, but that tends to be slow going. So I guess its time to learn how to make Misty Picnics.
