I actually sat and watched Dar Forager Lumun for a while. First night I watched him, there was a bug and he sat at the zone in for about 3-4 hours wihtout moving and without changing his inventory. I bugged him to Sony and went to bed. Next day, I noticed that he was next to the soulbinder so I guess they fixed the bug. I spend few hours waiting for him and found that he leaves to forage sometime after midnight game time and he comes back before 4 or 5 AM. I didn't sit for hours to comfirm this mutiple times but I logged on periodically to check on him. So if you want to catch him as he zones back in, best time is after midnight game time. I made to 202 using truffles so I don't need him anymore. Anyone want aoubt 20 stacks of truffles?

        I love this merchant!

My guild has 4 people or so all working on Baking, and we're all around the same skill level. After I told them about the Forager, there was a bit of friendly competition over who would get to Gukta to clean him out first.

Baking finally to 202 though, for several of us. Guildchat is FLOODED with offers of free truffles.

202 here too - I had to hire an Iksar Hitman to beat up this poor merchant before he would get back into his cycle of going off to find me Mushrooms after a young froggie got him to chase him to the entrance of Gukta.

OOC: He's on "Guktan Suppliers" faction, but a lot of other Gukta factions go down also when he is killed. The 'Dar Forager Lummun' in Innothule can be up at the same time as the Merchant in Gukta, and the one in the swamp just swims around randomly. (Nothing seems to aggro him, he does not respond to hails, and he is not a merchant).

Maybe I've just spent too much time at work looking at a screen all day, but Dar Forager Lumun roughly translates to The Forager of the Moon. (assuming luna = moon kind of = Lumun).

I'll have to check this guy out. Would be nice for a friend that I've been endlessly foraging mushrooms for.

I wonder where he learned to forage. I was thinking that none of the 5 frog classes get such a skill. Do the frogs get racial forage?

                  Kill him?

If you kill him you will get a bad faction hit and he wil stop selling to you.

I assumed that would be the case, so I hired a Hit-Lizard :P

Anyhow, seems to take him 1 day to forage, so he'll make it back on a 72 minute timer.
I managed to catch him just as he was entering the zone. I got the 50 mushrooms from him as per the method described above. As soon as he took off to do more foraging, I click my stop-watch. He returned from his wanderings in exactly 33 minutes. I supposed it's possible that the time varies somewhat, but that was my experience.
