sirodie,
well I see that you decided to skill up with filets of meat
I was gonna suggest that you skill up with frost giant steaks its trivals at 142 and it is a banquet meal with a +4 str buff.
kill lots of frost giant scouts in GD loot the meat and head over to CS to the otter camp buy oyster sauce, spices and combine frost giant meat with each and you get 5 steaks if successful
my guild loves me for the +4 str buff banquet meal

Ouch.
I happened to have KEI at the time (someone had tossed it on me in the group I'd just come out of), and had a wis of 188 as a result, when I did my run. Sounds like you just had some bad luck with the RNG.
I need to get frying pan mold(s) and cheese in Jagged Pine. How dangerous is this? I am a wimpy level 30 cleric. Is it best to go through BlackBurrow or through Surefall Glade?
go through SFG, it's realitivly safe, the merchand and bank are about a 5 second walk from where you zone in from (good alinement ).
If your evil alinement, i have no clue where it's at, my understanding is JP has 2 major camps, one for good, one for evil. I know that SFG zones you into the good camp. does anyone else know if BB zone in takes you to the evil camp?
BB zone took me to the gnoll outpost in the mountain. I was actually able to purchase my frying pan mold back there from a gnoll vendor. I went with my high elf wizard and was not KoS... go figure, hehe. Of course that faction changes quickly depending on what you do out in lagged pine.
I personally run a 26 druid back and forth through jagged pine from surefall for baking since it is certainly faster for picking up the cheese and such considering she can port straight into SFG. I figure if I am safe doing that with her you should be safe with your cleric
Hope some of that helps!

You would rather use a recipe that requires TWO zones worrth of ingrediants to go from 0-191, rather then use a recipe that uses ONE FREAKING ingrediant to get to 143?

hehe Was late at night. Ment to say go for patty melts AFTER filetts trivial.
So do Fillets till triv and then do melts. Sell Melts in Bazaar for change. Easily sell at 5g and I have made 1k selling at 1p when Ever I need a quick bit of change i bake Melts.
I quit the game I loved because it wasn't anymore. Guilds allowing farmers in because they could do a lot of damage in raids.
SoE not really doing anything about farmers, macroquesters ect.
Still Some of my favorite times spent online happened in Norath. The friends and mobs I remember fondly.
I've been through Shadowhaven a few times in the past couple of weeks and I've not seen the meat vendor by the pool. Up until last night when I wanted to work on Patty Melts I didn't really care. :?
Does anyone know anything about her being removed or was it just bad timing on my part?
Thanks

oh, if anyone is interested, i filleted all the bear/lion meat i had, didn't touch the wolf/mammy meat, then i did pattimelts to 191, then i filleted the mammy/wolf meat and i've done 120 combines of halas pies with a wis of 207 and not 1 dang skill up yet (no geerlock).
and yes, alot of guildmate is quite happy with the stack of pies i've been passing out.
I've had alot of guildmates want to pay me for them, but considering i'm 46, have my epic done (just waiting till i turn 50 for final turn in) as a result of alot of guild help i figure my cost i have in the pies is worth it. I think i ivested 1K pp, and after my first 40 combines, sold enough pies to make back 600p (5p5g each or 110 a stack), I still have enough mammy/wolf meat to do about 2000 more combines. The 1k investment was mainly for the milk, fennel, benzion and sage leafs. I got 260 baskilisk eggs from a guildmate that did the looting on a guild xp session in the baskilisk caves of JP back when we were 32-35. so yes, he saved that many eggs for about 3 months.
The zone in from Blackburrow takes you near the Brell acolyte gnolls' cave. They are Neutral, not evil. I don't think they're KoS to anyone from the start.

I think the mammoths(if any, I might be thinking of Rhinos) in EW might work.
I'm an odd tradeskiller, I do combines with the future in mind. After getting 136 on five combines of hobgob surprise(I gambled on a ridiculously kind RNG and lost ;P) I've been working on meat pies. This is annoying to find basilisks so now to save clumps I am going to do all the subcombines for Halas meat pies for skill ups.
You can add that, plus the subcombines(if any) for MTP and you can skill up while doing items you will need later.
I've been working on a guide in this format and it has been running in my head
i believe that gator meat ends up getting liquidized and ends up as a drink.
Grobb Liquidised Meat combine soda water, malt, liquidised gator, liquidised rat, liquidised snake, cask, cork, corking device in brew barrel. It's a miraculous drink, STR 6, STA 6, WIS -1, INT -1, wt 0.1, small (none/none) yields 6. brewing trivial @ 216
sub combines
liquidised ____ (meats) combine gator meat, rat meat, OR snake meat, mandrake root, jar of acid in mixing bowl. It becomes a drink; wt 0.1, small, none/none yeilds 1. Baking triv @ 70.
