    I have been wondering...

    I have been wondering...

How would the Master Chefs of Norrath feel about foods that need to be eaten in order to benefit from the stats, rather then just in the top inventory slot? It seems that the reward of baking would be much greater if that Dragon Steak (for example) not only had some higher stats, but also couldn't be saved indefinately by force feeding on iron rations.

Mind you, I'm just a recreational cook. I make the occasional item that I need, particularly Qeynos Afternoon Tea, for the stat boosts for my primary tradeskill, smithing.

And the mage epic pet, the pinnacle of timesinks, as a result of being from Kunark is dated next to the 61+ pets.
Quick comment on this, our guild is Mage heavy, and our guild leader is a 65 mage with I dunno 20-30 AA's (maybe quite a bit more, never asked, seems to have all the cool tricks) that has been around since the dawn of time....

He says that the Epic pet is still the best. Some of the higher pets are able to do as much damage, and some can tank as well, but none do both as well as the epic.

Just to mock us he'll use the high end pets so they outcon everyone... but he still swears by his Epic.
