No wonder it's not fixed yet! Quebec is a long way from So. Cal.

Maybe try to get them moved from Que. back over to the "to be fixed" queue.

Treant hearts are quite easy to get in Blightfire. Just kill the ones in the center of the zone, around the swamp. Quick respawn, and they also drop branches. Not a common drop, but not rare either.

Similar to how EQ2 gives you a buff for the food/drink when you consume them to give the stats. This would probably be a much much larger (core code) change and would address the issue of the stats as well as put an end to force feeding and only needing 1 high end stat food.
In all honesty they are about 8 years too late to be messing with how food/drink works. The only thing that could be accomplished by changing it now is to piss a lot of people off.

I do not think so. I think if presented in a clear and logical manner, to explain to people it was never the intention for players to be able to gain the benefits of stat food forever without consuming 1 stat food item would be understandable. If you have a cup of coffee that helps you wake up and gives you an energy boost would it make any sense to hold it in a mug and drink a bunch of water and expect to get the same effect as if you drank the coffee? At the same time, it would allow Ngreth to increase the stats on the food and drink items in the game to much higher levels than they have currently been held. SoF saw a nice jump in stats on food/drink but they are not providing their full benefit. You are getting an item that suddenly does not provide you the stats it lists.

So piss a few people off? What about all the people that got pissed off because they purchased or made a stat food/drink and did not get any benefit from it? You can never please all of the people all of the time.

Do we have an ETA as yet on the fix for AC/ATK on the trail mixes? Yes the stats/hp/resists on these are great but the ac on them would be awesome

A simple solution to this would be to prevent forcefeeding of food. I'm sure the most clever folks could work food swapping into a science, but eventually they'd accidentally munch down on the rare goodies they've been saving. I wouldn't mind this providing better food enters the game as a result of it.

Food that gives you a buff when you eat it, like clicking a potion, would be another way to go. The downside is that death would kill the buff, so it wouldn't be of much use on tough raids.

A problem with food as a buff, is that it occupies another buff slot. I already run out of slots and I have all I can use

Well I am certainly thinking of custom slots for the food and drink that do not use any other slots (but for ease would be DISPLAYED in the normal buff window. there is no need for another window)

It looks like this bug may be around for a while. I would advise NOT looking for it each patch.

It is on the list, but I do not expect it to be fixed soon. I have brought it up as something I would like to have some extra priority.

I will not be answering "when" questions on this anymore. It will happen when it happens *IF* I hear something, I will let people know.

If you look. The time stamp on both posts are the same time. Besifer just was quick on the draw and Ngreth couldn't get his 2nd post up in time.

As of the 4-17 patch this item does add to your AC as well as the nostrum drinks that have AC.

I just happened to notice it on an alt and have not investigated it any further than seeing the AC difference when it is equipped.
