What is this salvage 3?

Salvage is an Omens AA ability. Like a lot of the AAs it has multiple levels. In this case three. The salvage AA... quoting from my AA window "This ability gives you the chance to automatically recover and item that would otherwise be lost on a failed tradeskill combine." So say when I fail that velium bar and geode combine working on my jewelcraft I may end up with the geode still on my cursor. The first rank can be bought at level 60 and costs five points. I've read that ranks two and three (which are also five points each) can be purchased at level 65 and 70, but I do not know this for 100% fact. I also can't tell you by what percentage you have a chance of component recovery since I have no clue.

Ding 300 yesterday on Stromm.

MTP's all the way from 191. With WIS at 265 it "only" took a bit more than 3900 combines.

Part of the high number are the 1200 I did for next to no skillups between the April and May patch. I gave up at that point but then found 3 stacks of woven mandrake on a vendor after the May 11 patch so I dragged my main back to the oven and got a nice surprise with skillup rates close to where they were before the April patch.

My Shaman Kitkatky on Xeg dinged 300 in baking tonight!!!! I started MTP at about 242 or so. I will make my trophy tomorrow.

I have the goal of all three of my toons that I play to get their skills all to 300, I know crazy.

Finally got Katrinka's baking to 300 last night!!!!

Now to stick my young wizzy's head in the oven for awhile, she is at 248 right now.......so hopefully by the end of the week all three toons will have 300 in baking.

Woot 300 Baking this weekend and only too 900 MTPs from 282-300. Double woot woot and im now the number 1 Tradeskilling authentic Rogue on Povar (ok a couple of filters needed to be number 1, but im only 57, so im also stealing an extra WOOT WOOT WOOT).
Now to get 300 brewing before they someone waves the nerf stick at Kaladim constitutionals.

Starting from 290 skill, it took 365 MTP attempts (347 successes) to get to 300 with a 375 Int and using Trophy.
