what is considered a hmp flood?

Unfortunately, if you like doing your work in Plane of Knowledge, you can't duel there. Most other places are fine though. PoK happens to be my bind point, and I don't feel like changing it, so it works well.

Flooding on Sol Ro has driven the price of HMPs down to around 5pp each. So sad.... These things are well worth more for the amount of effort you have to put into making them.

I'm sorry to report lots of undercutting in HMP on the baz nowadays. Usual price is 4pp, but there seem to be some plp that log in and undercut everybody. While i'm scribing this, one person is selling 440 of them at 3p 5g, and another on is selling 380 hmp at 3p 2g!

There are several people selling HMPs on The Rathe. Just about everytime I go into the Bazaar, there are at least 8 vendors selling for 3pp each, and they all have hundreds (sometimes even reaching into 4 digits!) of HMPs.

I can't afford to have that many in stock at one time (I usually quit making HMPs when I have 100 or so), and I can't stay on as a trader all day (I usually play late at night to early morning) because this is a shared computer.

So I've started doing auctions in PoK and on the Trade channel. I've had better success that way, than spending an hour or two standing in the Bazaar. (And lately I've had to sell them for 2pp each instead of 4pp, which is what I used to get for HMPs)

I'm thinking of using my Druid, who happens to be a tailor, to supplement my income by making and selling Leather Padding, but there are a lot of other people selling those, too.

I might have to go back to trying to sell spiderling silks, which I got sick of a long time ago.....

Corpse storage is no news to smiths, they use it to store those silly NO RENT Shadowscream components. You thought baking was bad? Imagine if Mammoth meat and Brownie parts were norent!

I'm surprised that no one has named the best item for storage of HMP's, and that's toolboxes brought in Iceclad, they're 8 slots and GIANT size. Just be careful you don't hit the combine button, which I've never done (So far). I know the weight gets to you after a time, but a quick bank and exchange of boxes should take care of that.

Combine button no longer eats the contents of the container. This was changed looong ago.

If you want to use the Deluxe Toolboxes you no longer have to go all the way to Iceclad. A gnome in PoK sells them, though he can be a bit hard to find. He’s in the first building behind the bank. If you enter the hall and take the last door on your left, you’ll notice another door in the room. Open that door and you’ll see the little gnome guy. The boxes only cost a bit over 1pp each. I filled up the new bank slots with these on all my characters.

One variation: If you die in an arena, you lose no XP at all. Get someone to kill you, and you can skip the 4% loss to a rez entirely.

This one is even easier, DROWN :P

If you are on a 'blue' server (ie not one of the Zeks) you will lose XP due to death by drowning.

But, on-topic, someone on AB (lvl 1 mule called somethingBaker) was auctionioning HMP at 25pp a STACK in PoK. I think I'll stick to MTPs for skill-ups at this point.
