I borrowed a friend's 27 necro for farming the slaves in Crushbone.
I spent almost 10 hours there, over the course of several days.
I walked out with 5 pieces of Dwarf meat, a LOT of copper, and half a stack of dwarf blood.
I didn't get a single half elf, high elf, or wood elf meat. (let alone gnome)
I moved from 3 to 4 to 5 (EQAtlas Map), snare, pet, etc.
I feel like all that time was wasted... So I'm going to get in touch with one of the Darkie RP guilds on Xegony and see if they have any meats from whomping in Felwithe.
Area 5 has 4 slave spawns or so and a named Gnome (i've gotten gnome meat from this gnome). at least 3 of the spawns are in the pits. There is a slave that spawns *in* a rock next to the gnome. I've never been able to target it or otherwise pull it, but i can see it's label sticking out of the rock. By standing next to the rock and casting my necro's PBAE spell, most of the time i can kill the slave and it will fall partway out of the rock so i can loot it.
Area 4 has spawns inside the caves, and a few just outside the doors.
Area 3 has a couple dwarf smiths and a high elf priest. (i cannot recall gettin any drops from them for alchemy)
I've gotten high elf spawns in area 5 sometimes, but mostly i see them in area 4. I consider high elf parts your standard "rare drop from a rare mob" situtation. They *do* drop in crushbone, just not as common as wood elf and dwarf.
I cannot confirm or deny Fewithe guard drops. My necro is only L32, and is my highest level evil character.
I've gone to Dulak a few times to farm meats. I have no clue what level the mobs are since they are all green to me. But they have lots of HP. So it takes some time, even when using DoTs and dog dog to kill them. The 62 regen was enough to keep me and the doggy healed up.
I farmed the bar there with the High Seas Assassins for about 5 hours. It was the best spot I could find for Dark Elf parts. Also got 1 human meat, a few erudite meats, and some gnome meat too. Also got a stack and a half of elven blood... I still need to find out what thats for.
At 65, with decent gear (self buffed to 3900 HP), with FT4 and sitting on my lizzy, but no crack, I had to use Cana 5 regularly to keep moving. But I was able to keep up with spawns and could keep all the mobs inside the bar, plus the 2 out on the balcony clear. But 5 hours of that only resulted in 2 stacks of DE parts.
Dulak also seems to be the best source for Iksar Meat. But even then its rare. I found a spot with 4 static iksar spawns. But 4 clearings of them only resulted in 3 meats.
The other thing about Dulak is that mobs that are outside of building have an incredibly huge aggro area. Indoors they seem to be ok, but outdoors, I just kept being amazed at how far away some of the mobs would join in on the fight.
A little off topic but.. the elven blood is for cultural armor temper for ogres. It takes a human blood, dwarf blood, elf blood, and ogre swill. Its also used in DE cultural, 1 elf blood, 2 swirling shadows, and a neriak nectar.
as an evil baker (dark elf cleric), i tend to enjoy slaughering slaves in crushbone, and yeah, high elf parts are pretty darned rare there. dwarf can be gotten fairly commonly off bandits in butcherblock, and wood elf by the boatload on sister island in ocean of tears. i've been told for high elf, try the 'fab four' in dagnor's cauldron
also, najena is great for dark elf parts, and befallen for dark elf/gnome parts, if you don't mind waiting for those keyholders.
it's rather unfortunate that human, erudite, troll, ogre, and iksar meats are loy only, but i've gotten quite a few of them just hunting various spell quest drops for myself and a few guildmates. my poor little gnome alt has 3 backpacks full just waiting for guild shamans to turn into potions
