Is it possible that foraging skillups are just like any other tradeskill and are affected by WIS/INT?

The Secret Route to Fast Skillups in Foraging

Here's my super-secret way to skill up foraging in a flash.

Step One: Get plat. Lots of plat.

Step Two: Find a druid trainer.

Step Three: Select forage from the list.

Step Four: Click "train" until it stops.

Keep it hotkeyed, and get your wisdom up as high as you can, but train it every time you level up. You'll be so happy you spent the plat. Every morning dew or tuft of dire wolf fur you pull off the ground will pay you back for buying a point.

Oh, and get a foraging machette from Katta Castellum.

      Good luck!

        Another obsessive/compulsive ranger

Just wish they would buy my blasted roots. And who is it that keeps buying up all the pods of water and rabbit meat my merchants have to eat? /boggles
We must be cut from the same cloth Serenya as I did all the things you did and got my Foraging maxed somewhere in my 40s. I can remember exactly where it was, passing through Blackburrow. I just stopped and shouted "Foraging 200!". All the newbies must have thought I was whacko (pretty close to the truth actually). I still forage every time the button ungrays and keep everything I forage (except in Jaggedpine, only thing in there worth keeping is the Plant Shoots for a Ranger)

Maybe we need to start a "Forager's Anonymous" support group for those of us that insist on Foraging in the middle of a fight. "Oh, excuse me for a moment, there's a tasty Root there I just HAVE to get"

Put a cat and a bird in the same room, and what is the result?

            LOL, Minta.

By the way, I did finally get my foraging maxed somewhere around level 55(I am 57 now).
Now all I need is more places to put all the foraged stuff I get.

My foraging was maxed long ago by mapping it to movement keys, but because so many of my friends, and myself, use foraged stuff for tradeskills, my /assist button is

              /assist %t
              /doability 4 (forage)
              /auto

I wind up with bags full of foraged stuff constantly, without ever thinking about it.

Hmm, I've seemed to have an easier time skilling up foraging on my druid, that i have skilling up Feign death and instill doubt (fear) on my monk.

But then, I have a hotkey that forages and autoinventories, and usually just keep mashing it during downtimes.

Simple, keyed forage into my sit key that has /attack off, /forage, /autoinventory and /sit commands in it. Wouldn't work as well for a ranger I guess, but for a grouping druid you end up maxing forage pretty quick if you're trying to forage every time just before you sit down. I love it for LDoN dungeons and PoI grease foraging since it takes no concentration away from the group and I'm constantly sitting down and standing up.
