Ping's have always confused me, especially now with PoP. I haven't figured out what faction he's on, but ... Freeport book puts you very close to him, same zone, with nothing but newbie mobs between you and him (no guards, /cheer). Its like a 1-2minute run, not including zoning time, from PoK. While if people don't have PoP and need to use NK spire, SRo/WC ports, or BBM boat, I can see the time issues ... but with PoP? /boggle

I guess its Reflan's point, the sheer convience ... but I've never understood the people that can just blow plat for no reason. I've also never understood the people that regularly sell their horses / resist gear for quick cash, knowing full well they'll rebuy the same items later at a loss. Maybe they're related ... but anyhow, that's a rant for another time :P

Yeah, that was kinda where I was coming from. Additionally, you don't have the insane graphical lag in Freeport that you do in the Bazaar. That alone keeps me outta the Bazaar unless I have a specific reason to be there.

But then again, there are folks in the game with hundreds of thousands of plat. 1pp per bottle of Ping's is a drop in the bucket.
