I have to admit, when I tell people to send a tell to my other characters (eg if I'm on as my trader), it's ilona or Gwenae; ilona always with a lower case "i", so there is no confusion.
Of course, I still get called Ilonna or Llona sometimes *laugh*

You wouldn't think anyone could mess up my name, it's only five letters with no ambigious vowels, but I get Yallum a lot. I'm guessing they pronounce the 'a' differently than I do.

"Brennan" is actually a fairly common name, I wouldn't be surprised if I accidently added the 'r' in there myself. And check out what Google says if you plug in "Bennan"...

A Nymph is a very famous, seductive woodland faerie creature.

Taking a variation of that as your name is bound to have them spell it "wrong".

Yea, I usually try to remember the people who can spell my name right at the first try. They are exceptional

i had a friend on EQ for a while named Iaeleaealleaaeq i had a hotbutton for "/tell Iaeleaealleaaeq hiyas =) , send me a tell so i don't have to type that name :P" But she either quit playing, or i misspelled her name when i had to redo my friends lind and my macros

Two of the greatest names i've ever seen were Lililililililililili Lilililililili.... i'm still told stories by people who have played a lot longer than i have about shouting across the zone to her cause they couldn't spell her name.

The other was Inipinipocoloco Istolongiknow... last i heard she had changed it

i get called Mrog a lot... but i'm forgiving because i can't type myself and i'm too lazy to capitilize my "i"'s.. so i have no room to complain. But one thing i never get is my guild leader calling me Morgan.... is it really that much of an effort to put the "i" on the end? ... its not capitilized or anything
