Alot more gems yes BUT before patch you could run around on Prexus in Kelethin and find over 3000 each of black sapphires, diamonds, FLAWLESS diamonds(these don't drop in TSS), and RAW diamonds(these also do not drop in TSS).

There were like 5 merchants that had like 800+ of each on them. The reason folks are wondering so much is RAW and FLAWLESS diamonds are showing up by the 100's and these do not drop in TSS. If it was 1 vendor ok someone dumped their hoarded collection but who the heck holds 3000 Flawless diamonds and why dump on 5 diff vendors. Also this has shown up after a couple(at least the last 2) patches. One person hoarding gems and dumping them BUT that would only explain it happening once and only on 1 server. However this is going on after every patch AND on a lot of different servers.

I think something in this bug has to do with 1->stack. Before the stack size changes you would find blue diamonds in multiples of 20, but now they show up in multiples of 100.

I found about 150 Diamonds in a vendor in thurg and about as many in another zone

Only if log is on. By default it's off and using /log on only works till you log out. I can't remember how to keep log on full time but it will defiantly cause noticeable slowness in game if you use older PC.

/log on has always carried from session to session for me. As long as you archive them fairly regulary, it doesn't really effect game speed.

I too always play with log on helps to see how many hit points XXX NPC has what kind of RPS your pumping out and like clockwork I after every session goto C:\Program files\sony\everquest\logs then edit>select all>cut> take em to an archile file I got set up usually 2 folders up in sony folder and paste em then Game runs smooth next time and I can look those logs over at my liesure. Some times if I am in a raid I might turn logging off but only if I notice the lag you can even do this with alt-tab and back to start a new log.

Rather than to copy and paste, I just rename my log file. New log are created anyway.

look i didnt have time to read trough all 6 pages. So if i say something thats been said. or ask something that has been answered I apologoice upfront.


Now this finding of insane stock # of random stuff on vendors sounds like what happened 7 - 12 months ago. And at that time it was explained that it was an issue with teh vendors. and no people where selling that amount of gems and such to vendors.


people where finding hundreds of bags of platinum on vendors.

could it be teh same thing ?
