It was 100ish Jacinths, Black Sapphires and Blue Diamonds on *every* vendor in Felwithe for my server. No Diamonds at all is the clue for this case. I steered clear of the gems and didn't even buy one of them because this simply cannot be normal.

Although I did suspect a dupe going on, I was also thinking:

4. There isn't really any duping going on, and it is some sort of server side error/corruption that is randomly adding these gems to vendors.

Because I remember seeing 1 Spirit of Sloth on *every* vendor in Felwithe and *every* vendor in PoK Library before. This was a few years ago. But if it can happen to Spirit of Sloth (who would sell 1 of it to every vendor?), it can happen again with other items. So due to my memory of Spirit of Sloth, this is what I was thinking when I saw the gems.

There's someone who sells one Mining Pick to -every- library vendor in PoK on Seventh. I have no idea why unless it's just out of sheer boredom.

I went around and checked the vendors in PoK and a few other cities on Tunare before the patch and found nothing strange like others have. The only possibly slightly strange thing is of all the vendors I checked none had any blue diamonds or golden ember powder, but that is probably just due to some other vendor diver getting there before me.

Since there was an "emergency patch" done on Povar *not sure about other servers* either last Thursday or Friday, Iv not seen anymore insane amounts of gems on any vendors. So that means 1 of 2 things. Either the "duper" has moved to another server or they fixed the bug. Just wanted to give an update on what Iv found errr rather have not found. =)

Just chiming in: Last night on nameless, I needed some velium for the artisan charm and ran to Thurgadin (Failed again /sigh -- 5th time is a charm right?) and the jewlery vendor had over 50 diamonds, jacinths, serpant spine diamonds, etc and 243 diamond masks. The other vendor in the room had 50+ high end gems, so i ran around the zone and about 1/2 the vendors had an unusually high amount of gems.

I used feedback to report, but thought i would mention it here to.

Nothing so far that I've seen on Prexus since the patch. Anyone seeing a high amount yet on other servers?

This is after patch, but I took a look in sebilis today and was looting "stacks" in quanity of 2 to 12(even only) Fire Opals. No other gem were stacked, just Fire Opals...

Checked merchants in Felwith today and it seems every merchant except the first merchant in the zone had the following gems, Diamond, raw Diamond, SerpentSpine Diamond, Black Sapphire, Jacint, Flawless Diamond.

These gems were on all merchants in amounts varying from 30 to 300.
To many gems on to many out of the way and normaly never used merchants to be normal. And all merchants showing all gems in large amounts is wrong

The patch tomorrow includes a fix for an unspecifed exploit. This has gotta be it.

I'm hoping that patch killed it! I've checked around and haven't seen any fishy numbers on Saryrn yet..

CHecked Kelethim today. No big numbers (most smaller than 40) but what is fishy about it is that they are on every out of the way merchant.
