      There's a funny video (about the TV ad i'm talking about) on the web, but I won't even post a link here as it's NOT safe for work. Or kids. Or people with tender ears....

      Which is -exactly- what PSR is for....

      Glad I'm not playing much due to school so I'll probably only see it a couple times ... or might even get TheWife to spring for ordering it and being done...

          Sorry, couldn't resist

          But I have the cure:

          go into the eqlsPlayerData.ini file in your eq directory. If you use WinEQ, the file will be named eqlsPlayerData.WinEQProfile#.ini

          Find the lines that read:

          SerpentFirstOffer=1156268397
          SerpentLastOffer=1156358448

          And replace them with:

          SerpentFirstOffer=1130000000
          SerpentLastOffer=1130000001

          Or any numbers smaller than the original ones.

            I think I need to restart EQ. Been running it for a while and didn't see any TSS preorder the last time I restarted.

              Do you bypass the patcher? I do that all the time, so I didn't see the new patcher nor the TSS pre-order.

              By the way, if you pre-order, you get a clicky item that ports you to Crescent Reach once a day.

              PS: Now would you like to pre-order?

                  If you pre-order TSS, you get a scepter that you can click once a day to teleport to Crescent Reach. I believe that's the most useful in-game bonus to date.

                      Considering from the ad blurb for TSS
                      New Starting City: Crescent Reach is a fully functioning city with all that is required to learn and thrive in EverQuest, including merchant, quest, combat and tradeskill areas.
                      Which Ngreth told us was the reason for his "What supplies are missing in Abysmal?" thread, a clicky gate to Crescent Reach would definitely be useful (maybe even for port classes, if they don't get a port TO that zone, but rather near it, which is kind of the standard).

                        I'll be claiming the staff on my ranger, even though I play the druid more. The druid can get himself home, but sometimes the ranger gets stuck, and this would be a nice get out of jail free card.

                          Wizard/Druid port is one zone out... so yeah... it has at least SOME use to wizards and Druids, if it is not as useful.

                            When is this going live? I am away from home untill early Oct, but would like to pre-order for this item (for my rog)!

                            Maybe I can go to eq website and preorder!
