After seeing you lash out at people recently I can only arrive at the conclusion that you are somewhat obtuse about EQ and tradeskilling.

At 33 you should be levelling.
At 33 you will not get AA's to obtain Tradeskill Mastery.
At 33 you will not get the stat elevation AA's.
At 33 you will not get the level allowance for stat elevation.
At 33 you could not have been playing EQ long.
(If you have been playing EQ long and are still 33, that is another issue.)

At 33 and not playing long you might not realize a few things:
Some of us at 70 and playing 7+ years are not master artisans in ANY field.
Some of us at 70 do not have immense amounts of plat.
Some of us at 70 do not have flags to get to all the INSERT EXPANSION NAME HERE zones.
Some of us at 70 are unguilded.
Some of us at 70 are not uber-guilded.
Some of us at 70 are uber-guilded and are working tradeskills after 7 years and have millions of plats and 2 box and are STILL not master artisans.

You are upset at the fact you can not make the uber items. Welcome to the vast majority of EQ players. You mistake want for need and deserve.

There is help here if you only listen.
    I hope you do.

I appreciate the offer of the tunic, but I'm on The Rathe, not Quellious.
Or you can spend the time to actually level up, get higher stats, tradeskill AAs maybe, get to do everything more efficiently.. and then do sickles or cultural or whatever.

If you WANT to stay level 33 and get to be 300 smith, there actually IS a path for you - shadowscream. It's there exactly for YOU - the person with no resources, but lots of time.

Once you realize that there's a way to do most everything by either dumping a lot of resources into it OR spend a lot of time.. well, EQ life will be a lot easier for you. Just like the icecream business described above.

There is a third way I already mentioned - use your time right now to level up. If you're smart about it, you can combine that with tradeskill materials farming. At higher levels there's more options avialable to you which might seem cheaper, but always keep in mind the time spent leveling up.

In conclusion - you would be level 40 in the time it took you to write and respond to all these posts.

"Lash out"? I have been mostly polite in my responses to people on this thread.

Your assumption that I haven't been playing EQ long made me laugh. I have been playing EQ off and on since it a week after it went live. I got my smithing to 175 via banded armor, back when metal sheets didn't stack. I financed it by selling suits of banded at 1pp per AC. I was posting on this site back when the message board was on EZBoard. I *lived* and *played* through the changes I listed in my first post.

As for the rest of your comments, this IS the Primal Scream Room.

7 levels in about 2 hours off and on? Tell me, where do I go to get that sort of experience solo?

Well, I hate to tell you Doom, but I did already tell you you had to level, and that was going to be the outcome of this little thread.

Anyhow, never solo, never ever ever solo..... unless you're a Necro, maybe, although if you were a Necro, never solo anyhow 'cause you can bring lots of really cool things to a group. I'm finally starting to learn thatfact after too many bad PUG experiences.... the new influx of people to EQ after titanium has really helped, lot more good people around who are willing to teach and learn. BTW, friend of mine started EQ in Jan and is lvl 51, only playing maybe, 6-8 hours a week, often in 45min stints when the wife will let him. (I hate it 'cause it makes me look like a doofus but he can simply do things I can't or would take me much longer to do (like sand giants, he just stands toe to toe while my bard has to kite em around and he kills much faster, bah!))

            Take care!
            Ten.
I call for the elimination of EQ levels 1-50.

              *points to signature*

I've got a wide variety of characters that I play and tradeskill on. I three-box by preference because I despise pickup groups (one too many bad experiences).

You're right - the outcome of this thread was completely forseen. Doesn't mean that my frustration isn't valid though.

I'm closing this. No more posting herein.

Re-read it, and the reasons will be obvious. Doomspark, take a few deep breaths. Feel free to have a Primal Scream, but not to start poking at each other with sharp sticks.
