lost my GM task

Argh!!!!
Just looked at my tasks....and my GM level aug task is GONE! I had done half of the kills (60/120) and looted 58/80 drake claws. I've petitioned, but a guildy of mine said hers disappeared as well and she never got an answer on her petition.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Happened to me too, but I was never sure or not if I didn't accidentally remove myself from it while trying to clear off a completed mission...

I freaked everytime I had to remove myself from a mission. triple checked to make sure i not remove wrong thing. not saying that you removed yours by accident, but it would be nice to have the DoN tasks show up in a whole different window.

Question. Did you happen to use a shroud form that was below level 65? There's been some odd bugs where people would lose level-linked benefits and group leader AA's when they shroud down to below the required level. This might be something similar.

Actually, I've been running into this issue with the Snowfoot Revenge solo teir 3 task from don. Every time I remove myself from Creator to port out, I get the window that says "Do you wish to remove yourself from your missing 'The Creator'" I click yes, and it removes me from the creator and Snowfoot. I've now kill 22 snowfoots for how often this happens (but that's my own fault cause I won't just sit down and do the task in one day I guess).

I don't have the new expansion, and have lost a couple of the aug missions.

I lost my Gm aug quest as well , It happened after I finished a monster mission in Undershore and was ported to Everfrost and received the 54 day lockout bug. The quest was about half way done . I petitioned it and got the generic response to enjoy the rest of DoD until the patch and that there is nothing that could be done if you accidently clear mission . I will repetition seeing that others have had similiar problems.

Specific task: (I.E. At the minimum the "level 60 task from NPC BoB", but name of the task does not hurt.) Just "My level 60 task" is not enough because there are 19 level 60 tasks... need more details

Well I repetitioned and was told there was nothing they could do to help me and that I would have to redo the task from start . So looks like I am out of luck.

Im always scared to do any removes also. Im always checking to make sure I dont have the GM task highlighted. Caught myself a few times. Im sorry you lost it, thats alot of work to have to redo. Trust me, I know hehe.

I have one, totally unrelated question for you - how in the world did you get such a good looted ratio on the claws ? I had done well over 400 kills when I looted my 80th claw... now attempting the same quest on a second toon (because I'm insane or something) and am having no better luck. I've tried several different types of mission.

Much much sympathy to you if you have to start over completely.

Actually, I get my claws during Creator missions. 3-5 per usually. Don't get kills tho...had to do that in Stillmoon.

Personal tribute benefits I can explain, sorta - seems that after doing a monster mission (orc or fairy mission in Nektulos only ones I have done), your personal Tribute settings are wiped. Points remain, but the selections have to be re-done in home city. Just another bump to be ironed out from the post-expansion blues
