  • Excluded from 2100 Club because fletching favors wood elves / Karana worshippers

Just wanted to see how many of us there are, and how high our fletching is. Please post name, Server, Race / Class and your tradeskill stats. Maybe if SOE sees how many of us are affected they will finally realize the extent of this problem.

    The nameless
    Celeste, High Elf Cleric
300 Baking, Brewing, JC, Pottery, Smithing, Tailoring
299 Fletching ($1.8 million platinum spent and going)

I imagine there are quite a few folks who stopped at 282 fletching. Tailoring is also quite daunting for most of us. Names don't seem necessary, I believe it's enough to know that the list is 'long'.

Happy to add my name here, not that it will do any good.

      Ayida. Warrior. Tier'dal. Firiona Vie.

282 fletching, 250+ tailoring, everything else is 300.

297 in Fletching now after 1.3 million plat spent for combines between 282 to present. I will finish up the last 3 prolly tomorrow. Had to end up making fletching trophies to get to here.

This is essentially a "me too" gripe thread, and as such belongs in PSR. Moved.

Please also note that the rules disallow "No politics, no strikes, no walk-outs or stand-ins, no petitions." The wording in the first post comes pretty close to a petition.

SoE has provided you means to give them /feedback both in-game on on thier web-site. Using Niami's bandwidth to campaign for change is not polite. To give feedback or agitate for a change, you need to use SoE's boards and not these. Celeste - this is not the first time this has been pointed out to you. Please don't make our jobs here any harder than they already are.

                Public Service Announcement:

I would like to take this opportunity to remind folks that the "2100 club" or (and before that the 1750, etc) is a creation of the community and is not anything that either SOE or we here at EQTC made or maintain. Members of the community want to keep it here, and we haven't asked them not to. That's all.

IMHO tailoring isn't that hard regardless of race, until 295. Then for the unlucky race/classe combo it's expensive, but not horribly so.

Fletching is a different matter of course.

From someone that is a full time raider and slowly working her way to 300 tailoring, 30mn/day at a time.

I'll assume you are basing this statement off of Othmirs? If that's the case, the same argument can be made for 300 as the same number of furs (holgresh), four, will get you there.

Or, maybe Nightmare armor? Yeah for midnight stones!

My goal is to get 2100 by the end of the year, the same goal I had months ago when everything but Tailoring was 300.

Yup. I'm told other Velious armor is more expensive than Othmir, and to me look definitely harder to get fast. So I plan to do DoN cultural.

The poster is right IMHO about fletching, but tailoring isn't that hard. Certainly would be the hardest of all, if fletching wasn't obviously broken.

Edit: I see you're at 294, keep the good work! The end of the year is also my time frame, it looks like we have the same definition of "hard".

295 now. And boy, does my bank space appreciate it. I was able to unload 3 bags of supplies that are now trivial to a very good friend.

Stacks and stacks of Nightmare Blood / Bricks, Fetid Slime, Saps, Emblems etc. Oh, and a huge pile of Clear Mana. Now, what can I put in it's place to get to 300....

Storm Rider leathers will get you to 300.

If your race has leather-classes, you can try DoN GM cultural armour... or do GM Symbols, if you've done the quest. Silk-class DoN GM cultural is... tough to find the supplies for.
