no rent items

No rent items in the shadowscream armor recipe are stupid and should be dropped.
There have been far too many instances like this where people lose their no rent items from bugs.
The whole no rent thing is just one more burden on the people who already are trying to skill up against terrible odds. I guess if it weren't no rent it would be farmed and sold in mass quantities in bazaar, so what else is new?

No Rent Components

For some recipes, a no rent component might be in order to keep the rate of attempts per hour (or whatever) down. With Shadowscream Steel though it is a bit of overkill. The recipes already require two other no drop components. I don't think it would suddenly make Shadowscream a walk in the park. I always considered the Swirling Shadows to be the 'easy part' when I did my Shadowscream combines. The shriekeing substances were the hard part, and the wailing substances were the mind-numbingly boring part.

Even with the no drop and no rent components, Shadowscream is probably still the easiest skillup path in smithing from 188 to 250.
