I know this feeling will pass. I know I'll spend more countless hours cursing the skill to the fiery oblivions of the darkest pits of the inferno. Right now though.. ok it's not a big goal... It's not like hitting 250 skill or maxing all trades. But it's something I've wanted, something I've gone GIMMIE over since I found out we could make 100% 10 slot wt reduction bags. My little halfer druid finally finished the type 2 ribbons after oh, I'd guess around 340 cauldron dyes (let us not mention cauldrons again in this post).
So I figured with my 187+ geerlok skill I could either dive into the pure hell that is solstice robes (yuck! I just like to do the subcombines for that, the robes themselves are too depressing and y'know, profit sucking). Or I could be completely irrational with my precious acorns and BDs and do a few attempts at haversacks before I convince myself it's a bad idea. Well, I succeeded on first attempt, and got a skillup!
And succeeded on the second one as well!
No drug can feel as good as making something in EQ that you will actually use on your main character. Especially not when you were absolutely expecting failures.
...of course now I'm going to be paranoid about doing combines for the rest of the month because I know how these things work... But that doesn't matter right now, I feel giddy. I love tailoring.
