Actually a Pal has lower DPS then a simullarly geared and level war, they are more survivalble, because of stuns and heals, so they are better soloers then wars.

The War class is, in the end, designed to be a tank, mainly Raid tank. You are the one put in the spotlight, assigned the toughest mobs that your guild fights. they and clerics are the most group dependant of any class, as they are, on the other hand, the most irreplacible in the raid enviroment.


Could go into it more, but would be a total derailment and have nothing to do with tradeskills. Butt that is what your class has been shaped into.

This comes to the ultimate dilemna of being a warrior. You are indispensible as a raid tank at high levels (ie 60plus) but to get to level 60 you need good exp groups which are very hard to find unless your in a good guild. But the last post is true I have strayed very far from the tradeskill topic.

One good question for the tradeskill topic is how high do I have to get my str before it starts to effect skill ups..my war is very bad at skill ups and have been wondering if 180str is enough?

Also, are there any smiths on bertox looking to sell there old level up stuff? (Yes this question should go somewhere else but while I am here I tossed it in).

STR would only effect Smithing. What level is your smithing?
Dex only effects Fletching

Otherwise it is Int or Wis only.

I did near 200 with around 255 int, somethings I would not want to do again with less then 305 (capped Dex/Str/Int)

would suggest trying to sayve up for STR gear, if you only want to smith, and Wis gear for other tradeskills. would not likely to be day use gear, only a smithing gear (Yes for around 350 /played days I had int gear for skilling and a wife who is an enc.)

there is pok/SH find people selling buffs in Pok and get str buffs too.

oh, get your str/int/wis to at least over 200 for skilling runs. More is nice, but there's a noticeable increase in skillups at 200.

You come to test server, type 10 characers, (/testbuff[return]) get 25 levels, a full spellbook, full set of gear and weapons.. then run all the way to PoK to beg for 5p for malachite that costs 5 silver each or bone chips that drop off the lvl 1 skeletons... IN THE ZONE YOU JUST TOOK 2 MINUTES RUNNING THOUGH!

I've been yelling at morons that do this for months until last night...

OMG. It worked....

I bought 10 malachite, tracked him down and gave em to him and buffed him and his pet. =)

And then while still in Gfay i got PWNED by a dev (game developer)... but thats another story..
