The spiders in Erud's Crossing drop spider silk, not spiderling.

By all means, though, AOE the island...and then give me all the seahorse roe.

If you are a ranger or a druid, rock spiderlings in BB seem to drop a lot of silk, but don't bother if you aren't - too rare a mob.

West Karana on the west side still drops a lot of spiderling silks.

My alt druid funded some nice equipment while hunting there (killing spiderlings in downtime).

Got several stacks of silk threads.

Hark! Who is that, prowling along the fields! It is Draggar De'VIr, hands clutching two hardened pitas! He cries gutterally: "In the name of Thor the Mighty, I hereby void your warranty, and send you back to God!!!"
