Best vendor dive?

Nothing too fancy, but it made my little tinker heart soar:

~100 porous mineral blocks off a vendor in Ak'Anon. I guess someone gave up on their little tinker...

Ok, just had to post this:

The Mask of Tinkering still drops on Test, as we still have Sleepers Tomb (Not Kerafyrms Lair), so its not THAT big of a thing. But still, a nifty find, and either some rogue/bard quit or made a minor error...

Me being a poor, almost always close to broke Magician, my best vendor mining finds aren't all that exciting. These are all old dives, as I don't do it as much anymore. (PoK is my favorite place to vendor mine, but I've been doing LDON adventures lately - Felwithe is a short ride from Butcherblock, so I tend to bank there instead of going to PoK) I also like to remember where I find items, because I give those vendors more attention than others (ie, I browse them more often).

About 5 or 6 stacks of Spiderling Stacks off Murissa Sandwhisper - sold `em all in the Bazaar within 15 minutes of going into trader mode, for about 5pp a piece (which was the average price back then - this was pre-LDON - now 8 to 10pp each is average).

20 Picnic Baskets. Don't remember exactly where, but it was in PoK. (I used them to do 20 MTP combines - no successes or skill-ups, but my skill was in the 180's at the time, so it was expected)

Blue Diamonds on a couple of occasions. They're too common a find on PoK vendors on The Rathe now, so I pass them by when I find them.

Several stacks of Brown Algae on the PoK Brewing supply vendor. I couldn't go to Cobalt Scar to buy it myself due to not having worked on CoV faction much, so that was a good find. (For the record, I still have never been to CS, but am aiming to take a fishing trip there very soon, if I can get a port)

Centi Shortswords on a couple of occasions. Once on a smithing supply vendor in Shadow Haven, and once on the Baking supplies vendor in West Freeport.

Also found a Centi Warspear in the Rogue guild\tavern in Rivervale.

5 High Quality Bear Skins - don't remember the vendor, but it was in EC, iirc.

The Elemental Maelstrom spell. Saved me the trouble of having to go look for it in the Bazaar.

Several Casserole Dishes and a White Ceramic Band, on the Pottery supply vendors in Shadow Haven. (I was buying supplies to make Ceramic Linings for Non-Stick Frying Pans I was making, not actually vendor mining, but still.....)

The best trade I ever made with vendor mined items was about a week or so after PoP went live involved 14 Coiled Springs on a vendor in PoK. I traded all 14 of them to a Gnome who didn't have the expansion yet for a Collapsed Spit and Mixing Bowl, and those were selling in the Bazaar for about 1k apiece back then.

*sigh* Why can't I ever find things like A Drop Of Pure Rain, or highly sought after spells on vendors?.....
