When ever I have made any, which admitedly has been few, I sell for 6 K each , and they sell right away.

And it takes a LOT of time for a Cleric to forage the tufts

I was experimenting with Tae Ew Hide stuff for a period of 5 months.
My cost prices was 5-6K pr hide, 400pp pr blood (cause some guy farming sewers had a stack, and neither of us had a clue that blood were going for 2K each at the time, and he took my 400pp each when i offered)

                Made the following:
Tae Ew Hide Pants (for my monk)
Tae Ew Hide Pants (free combine for a guy i know)
                Tae Ew Hide Pants failure
Tae Ew Hide Pants for around 10K in pp and items for a guy i didnt know.
                Tae Ew Hide Pants failure
Tae Ew Hide Pants for selling (sold after 3 months for 20K, yes, with failures almost as much as my material cost)
                Tae Ew Hide Backpack failure.

Then i stopped doing Tae Ew Hide stuff. And seeing the number of people hunting in CT, i doubt ill ever get near a hide again.

Your guildleader has 4 "Tae Ew Leather Tunic" ??

Or he has 4 Plate BP? Or 4 Chain Tunic?

Plate use a Pristine Scale, not a Flawless Hide
And chain really uses noithing but Tae Ew Blood.

But 4 Leather Tunics, on the other hand, would mean TWELVE Flawless Hides , assuming ZERO fails, which is more then I have ever heard of anyone getting, ever.

                      I think "bps" means "backpacks".

                        Bps for backpacks?

Not an abbreviation I would have used, but it's possible.

Although, why people abbreviate anything when they aren't running from 3 adds is quite beyond me. I take the time to compose clear and concise message board posts.

Someone once pointed out a fun bit of logic to me - people love to abbreviate plat into kpp, presumably to decrease on writing (and somewhat increase readability, depending on circumstances). But when you start getting into fractions of a kpp, it doesn't work quite as well. 1000pp = 1kpp, savings of 2 characters. 1.2kpp = 1200pp, exact same number of characters to type ... yet people seem to prefer 1.2kpp to 1200pp in their typing, and the usual reason is because "its shorter". I can understand it if you've got a list where kpp makes sense for most, and you just happen to have one or two that use a fraction, but single numbers or lists exclusively with hundredths of a kpp ...

It doesn't have to be shorter.

                            It's easier to read.

                            Quickly scanning...
                            1900pp or 1.9kpp

least it easier to quickly tell when potental buyers are running through the zone.

I didn't even consider 'bp' to be breastplates when I was typing. HAHAHA

For this reason... whenever bp comes up in /gu it's breastplates. The only time I see bp in auction, which I'm currently doing in bazaar/pok, are people selling the handmade bp.

Guess I should have been more clear. I did mean the backpacks. He has a few of them. I failed making one of them for him as well.

Now I just need more blue diamonds.

1900pp is easy to confuse with 19000pp or 190pp when reading quickly.

1.9kpp is a bit less likely to cause confusion.

Hundredths of a kpp, though, is just silly. Of an mpp (million), sure, but that just doesn't come up that often...

heh, ironic ... I find it easier and more frequent for me to misread 1.9kpp as 19kpp, than for me to misread 1900pp as 190pp or 19000pp. Guess I'm just different :P
